Good morning,
Yesterday's condo
7/28 AMPS=117, +1=122, +2.5=97; +4.5=124; +8=148
7/28 PMPS=122; +2=121; +4=97
7/29 AMPS=90; +1=113; +2=97; +3=97; +8.5=88; +10=99
7/29 PMPS=97; +2=122; +4=122
Lucy is doing OK.
Her appetite is a little better than yesterday, but wanted to be hand-fed.
But I'm giving her Wellness Turkey this morning instead of Wellness Turkey&Salmon, so that may be why she isn't so excited.
I shot a low number, so I'll be monitoring her closely.
I will test +1 and +2.
I really want to give her some digestive support, but it's hard to give her enough FortiFlora.
If I mix it in her meal, she will not eat it.
If I roll her treat in it, sometimes she would eat, but it's a hit or miss.
I visited a few pet stores and supplements stores over the weekend, trying to find a replacement, and Probiotic 8 Plus by Omega Alpha was highly recommended by one of the supplements stores, and gave me a bunch of samples to try.
This is a Canadian company, so I'm not sure if it is available in US.
If someone has used it, please let me know what you thought about it.
Can you please look at the ingredients, and see if there is anything a diabetic cat shouldn't have?
This product also has enzyme in it, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to give her enzyme.......
The store thinks it would be very beneficial, but I'm worried about ulcers in the month.
Has anyone given any enzyme supplements to your kitties?
I also found a product called Proviable DC on line, that are sold through vets.
I'm going to ask the vet about this product, but has anyone used this?
In the FAQ section, it says this product is not recommended for a cat with suppressed immune system, so I'm not sure if this is right for Lucy.
I'm so afraid to do something and end up making it worse for her.
Any idea, suggestion, advice will be appreciated very much!!!!
