Morning all,
Lou had another uneventful night, which makes it 5 cycles in a row we haven't seen any greens. We haven't even seen a blue in 4 cycles, but I've suspected that one might have been a fluke. His bounces normally last up to 2 cycles, but perhaps 3 at the most. So I upped his dose to 3.5u this morning, which means with new dose wonkiness we won't see any action today either. I have to remind myself next time I test to grab out the ketones meter and make sure everything is A-okay on that front. I keep remembering as I have my blood drop; a little too late to try to get the meter out and set up. :rolleyes:

Well, you ladies might be working wonders. Just tested him at +3.5 and he was at 238. He never goes out of the pinks on the first day of a dose increase, so that's weird. I'll test again later today to see if this continues. I also checked his ketones this time and they were negative at 0.1. :)
 
Good luck with the dosecrease. Yay for negative ketones. If you don't have your ketone meter ready, next time try putting the blood drop on your fingernail and holding it there until you can get it ready.

Not a bad idea at all! Thanks for the suggestion!

So this was a more active cycle than I was expecting right after a dosecrease. Unfortunately, I felt a little bit of liquid on Lou's fur after his PM dose. Just what I need right after a dosecrease and after days of crappy numbers. :arghh::banghead::arghh: Let's hope it's only a slight furshot and not the whole d*mn dose. :oops:
 
Hope Loudogg will do better tomorrow...and Luci too for that matter...she got lazy today and didn't do a thing!:arghh:
