Yes, though I really should get another picture of her. She's lost a good deal of weight (mostly from the diabetes unfortunately, but all in all that part was a good thing!) and looks even better now. More of a cat shape and less of a barrel. ;)

We think Mona can only see a few feet in front of her, and she definitely has problems with depth perception, so likely can see very poorly through one of her eyes. As a result, she doesn't do much jumping at all, and won't jump onto any uneven surfaces at all (including laps). But, I have to admit that getting her down to around 12 lbs (she was up around 15-16lbs) has made a big difference in her energy and I hope to eventually have her closer to 11 lbs. We'll get there much slower from here though!

I'd love to see a picture of Baby if you can find it! Even slower, old kitties can be happy ones. :) I had a cat that was totally blind from 20-22 years. She got by shockingly well, though we had to be careful about leaving things out or moving furniture even a little bit because she had the location of everything in the house memorized so she could run around as if she could see. It was amazing to watch. Most people didn't believe us that she was totally blind.

yea, i know what u mean, i had a dog who was blind, 11, of her 16, yrs. evn after many surgeries, and 1 which removed her eyes, my mom didnt believe she was blind! it was so much easier to be neat and keep things perfect, having her. i nvr moved anything bc she had the whole house memorized!
