Garfie was higher this morning, so gave him a full .25u as per Shawna, who mentioned that he should be getting an increase to try to get him into the blues more often.

What do you suggest? I will do a curve this week now that Garfie has been on this dose for over a week, and hope to be able to see where his Nadir is.

I'm still trying to get the info onto the SS, so be patient please.
 
Regarding the ss. You can not enter data when clicking the link. It must be done on the master sheet in Google drive.

Or if she has a smartphone it can be entered that way. With Google sheets you don't enter in the cell. There should be a bar (field) at the bottom that starts with fx, you enter data there then click the check mark. It took me forever to figure that out. I'm use to excel.

I find it easier to enter using the phone instead of booting up the pc everytime. You have to download the Google drive to your phone.
 
Thanks Olive..........I'm aware of that, but she hasn't downloaded Google Sheets yet and is having a problem...........I'll post on her behalf for now and printed everything off for her, so hopefully tonight she can download the App..............no computer at her home, no computer skills, so it's going to be a huge learning curve........but she's doing well and main thing is testing and shooting.
 
Shawna, please pass along hugs and prayers of encouragement to Garfie’s momma . This is all daunting on its own without throwing in having to handle the tech of it .:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I just opened her ss. It's the copy of template. So it can't be altered. I think it has to be resaved as...........

Are you doing this all from a phone if there's no pc? What about a tablet?
 
Shawna, I just responded to Rebecca's post in the Welcome/Introduction forum. I hope I was clear and the info was helpful. If not, please apologize to her for me. You are wonderful to help her in this way and I hope for the best for her and Garfie. I wish I could sit with her and show her the computer part. Hopefully she won't remain unfamiliar and intimidated for long.

I'm not doing her SS, just posting for her for now, but she's working on it and when she gets to a computer tonight I'll try to walk her thru it over the phone. We went over it on my computer this morning but it's a foreign to her as FD was to all of us the during our first days...........

Oh I know. I'm somewhat techy but unfamiliar with Google sheets. I'm just thinking of all the quirks that caused me issues when I started and no one could figure it out. Some people assume everyone uses iPad. Not me I use kindle which doesn't support Google docs. Some people assume everyone knows and uses Google docs. No not me, use and quite proficient with MS Office although this newest version has me stumped at times (don't like it much). And somethings in Google can only be done on pc and not phone. When you have a very old outdated pc sometimes nothing works. I have to use 3 devices sometimes to do one thing.

Just trying to give some ideas that might not be thought of.
 
All the input is GREAT! I'm very good on computers but when you try to talk someone over text or phone who is a rank beginner on a computer, it's more difficult. Marje will set her out, as she has done for many and helped me in the past too.......just a day or two more and everyone will be able to see the SS for Garfie..........we all have to patient as Rebecca is not on the computer and using her mom's. Combine that with work and testing, etc and it makes for limited time to update. If there's an urgent situation Rebecca knows to text and or phone me.........my phone is attached to the side of my head, so you always get me ;)

OMG, Shawna, your phone is attached to the side of your head???? (Picturing this in my head, not liking what I see)
 
Great news, Rebecca has started the SS and should have most of it competed tonight. She’s going to insert 1 week going back of the Caninsulin, and then all the Lantus since starting it July 20th.....making good progress.
