Good Morning LL! Finally we are back down into the blues. Tess does to take the whole 3 days for her NDW! I think she has stock in the patience pants market!

Yesterday we got the rest of the front garden cleared out. Anyone need any rosemary? I've got over a 6 foot pile of it that I ripped out. Don't worry Stu's Rosemary Bush is still there, but now we can get down the sidewalk! Emma has taken to coming and supervising the garden work, I think so she can roll around in the fresh dirt. Not quite a LWC anymore! Today more weeding!

WCR All 5 Ps, almost Clean Plate Club, time for Butter Sunday!

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165

HI Ann......What a nice blue start to Miss Tess' day. :-D I presume she's eating well? Wish I could get those different flavors of Wellness. I can get only chicken or turkey.

So you have a little brown girl, do ya? I see a bath in Emma's near future. Heehee. Fire up the warm water in the outdoor hose.
Wow on the rosemary pile. I couldn't even grow lettuce, this year. The daily rain probably washed away all the seeds. :YMSIGH:

Have fun with the weeding.

Hi Ann!

Congrats on the blue, Tess! - feels so good, doesn't it? dancing_cat

I'd take your rosemary, but will pass - I can use some, but it would probably just sit here with all the 100s of other nursery plants I haven't planted yet - our soil is adobe right now! If you want to give it a home instead of tossing it, you might try calling Benjoy wholesale Nursery - on the way to Lopez Lake. Tell John you're a friend of mine - he may be interested - if so, sometime's he offers your choice of a plant or two in return - win win!

You might try http://www.doggiefood.com, Barb. They have alot of Wellness varieties & free shipping over $49. Also, no tax (for us) & varying discounts if you pay more than a certain amount. Also - I went to Petco yesterday & Wellness has a new 'Signature" line - No carageenan :-D :-D :-D But - lower protein    & more moisture  Seems there's always a tradeoff.

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165 +2~233

Nice to see Tess in the blues today and I bet she turns it around as the +2 can be food. I was just about to ask about Emma. Nice she likes to supervise the garden work. I take it Tess hasn't mellowed yet yet with Emma!

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165 +2~233

Hey, Ann:

I forgot to ask - what is NDW & LWC?
Glad Emma like her dust bath - so good of you to facilitate that for her!

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165 +2~233 +4~260 +8~211

Well by preshot she should be back in the blue range, I don't know why she does it , lots of nice numbers and then zoom up she goes!

Suzanne, NDW is New Dose Wonkiness. After a dose increase, the numbers can actually go up for a few days until things settle out.
LWC is Little White Cat (or LWP - Little White Pest! as Tess thinks of her). When she first showed up in January that's how I referred to her and it stuck.

The rosemary roots itself where ever it touches the ground. I literally just pulled it out of the ground, I doubt if you friend would want it. There is so much of it around here. Any time you want some I'm sure there will be plenty to dig. I also have a true Bay Laurel tree if you ever need bay leaves for cooking. It's ridiculous what they charge for it!

   On the dust bath! That's always available around here, this was nice moist black dirt! Really great on the white fur!

Barb, the other Wellness we feed Tess is Wellness Core, you can get it most places. I get it at PetSmart. Most online vendors carry the full line and if you go to Wag.com from the link on top of the page FDMB gets the commission

Tess Tess.....you can do more than dip your toes in blue!! Looks like maybe you want some more good numbers tonight!!!

I hope she's feeling ok and all is going well with her. I read back over several days' condos. I haven't had as much time to be on the board lately and when I am, it's at night and I'm catching up with new members. Been missing you all big time and seeing how things are going in Tess and Emmaville. Love the LWC!   Poor Suzanne....I befuddled her with CPC. I remember how long it takes to be around here and learn the lingo.

That's a lot of rosemary to pluck out. You are one determined gardener!!

Paws crossed for some lovely greens for our girl!

Marje, not so determined. I just let it go waaayyyyyy to long before doing anything about it!  Fortunately it is fairly shallow rooted! Unfortunately now I have to figure out what to do w/ it. They don't want it in the green waste, because it clogs up the chippers! Hmmmm my ceramics group has a pitfire coming up, it might make good fuel for that! At least it would smell great!

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165 +2~233 +4~260 +8~211

You could dry it and put it on packages. Sell it to Brighton so they can tie it on bags.   Make Rosemary Jam.....Amy makes Jam maybe she knows how to make Rosemary jam.

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165 +2~233 +4~260 +8~211

When I harvest our rosemary in the late fall I tie it into big bunches and hang them up to dry. When dry I pull all the leaves off the stems and put them in spice jars. It is great to have real, garden rosemary in the winter (but, of course, you don't have that problem!). Still, you could dry the bunches, put the whole leaves in jars, and give them away as Xmas presents.

I'm glad Stu's bush is still there. It's sure to grow a lot now that it has been "pruned".

Tess, your mamabean would like you to get back to blue this evening.

Have a fine evening, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Emma, you are a sweetheart, dont believe your bean talking "pest".  And Tess, you need to find the grotto. I love rosemary so I planted some this year. I'm going to dig it up and put it in a pot over the winter.

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165 PMPS~140

Oh Boy! Tess was listening, actually she didn't eat much since we went out . She isn't used to being alone anymore. There was a bonsai show at the Guadalupe Obon Festival and I didn't get the notice. I got there just in time to get all the labels out.

p.s. It's Tess that thinks she is a pest, Emma followed me in the house and Tess had to chase her out again!

Re: 7/28 Tess AMPS~165 PMPS~140

Tess! Really, it's OK - there is room for 2 in your beans' lives. Not less for you - just more for everyone! You might even (horrors) Like Emma if you gave her a chance!

Love the nicnames! I am imagining Emma as a DWC after dust bath? I have 2 white ferals (Spankey being one, & they love to get under the heavy equipment & grease then take a dust bath. It's a magnet for white cats

Re. rosemary - you could put it in a shallow box with some moist soil & a FREE sign - especially up at the corner of the Flea Market on Saturday - would probably go pretty fast? It does make a superb BBQ for veggies. Re. Laurel - we have one, too & I have a no-name I got for $1 that I also think is laurel - will maybe ask you to look at it when we finally meet in 3-D so I don't accidentally poison my family with Cherry Laurel by mistake!

Rosemary jam sounds incredible - my mouth is watering again - can't take me anywhere!

& Thanks for the translations - yes, Marje's right, I befuddle easily! Actually probably have a pre-existing befuddled dx.

Emma - go green - light green - no diving tonight, but give your mama a smile!!!
