More vines and prayers for your girl! I'm glad you're getting her to the vet tomorrow, I agree with Elise too, make sure you have the Spec fpl run, I would want to be absolutely sure you need to treat for pancreatitis and not something else. Glad to hear she's eaten, and I get the bad reaction to bupe, Tiger could only take .02 every 12 hours. Another thing, be aware, it causes constipation in some kitties, not sure if Shasta gets miralax or something like that. I have long sleeved gloves that are made for Rose Pruning, they worked good for those difficult times!

Spec fPL - definitely! I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a very long day.

...probably with several wardrobe changes...and maybe a few bandaids. I'll take all the bites and scratches she wants to throw at me as long we get answers and she feels better. Thank you, Ruth!

Just got back on and had a chance to see how things are going. I think that is too much bupe. Max is 16 pounds and I was told to give 1/2 that amount every 8-12 hours. I'm glad she is eating. I too am glad you will take her in tomorrow. Max has had chronic pancreatitis for about 7 years and never had trouble walking. I wonder if there is more than one issue here, maybe one of which is as simple as dehydration causing her electrolytes to be off. Tons of vines and prayers that you get answers and that she isn't nearly as difficult at the vet's office. :bighug:

Have you used Rescue Remedy for the vet trips? I used it with both Punkin and Anya. It knocked Anya out with a small amount...I don't remember how much I gave her, but maybe a couple of drops. She weighs about 7-8lbs. I gave punkin a full dropper and it barely phased him. He weighed 13-14lbs.

It sounds like the vet issue is huge and the RR would be worth trying. I bought it at our locally owned pet store.
