pmps 580 Fat .5 u I don't know why the huge jump. He was very agitated tonight though. :sad:

Sammy wasn't that high. I checked my meter at lunch and it was 369 not 396.

He was very cranky when I poked him at lunch. I wish I had some Lidacaine or something to put on his ears before poking. He tried to bite me.

hmmm, sue do you know about the neosporin with pain relief? i use the ointment because it is a bit greasy like vaseline. you can slather it on at the end of the day and let them heal overnight, or i've seen people suggest putting it on 20 minutes before they're going to test. wipe off most of it before you test, though, because otherwise it goos up your test strip.

Yes I put on the neosporin with pain relief. I think Sam expects it to hurt so he gets all worked up over it. That makes his BG go up too, I imagine.
 
I'm confused. A +14 means you didn't shoot at PMPS (i.e., it's now 14 hours since Samwise's last shot). Do you mean the 358 was his +2.

If you think the test result is off, sometimes it helps to re-test.
