Good Morning, Everyone,

Rain all day today--a good "rest" day. Rusty is "resting", too, having a little bounce. After breakfast he fell asleep on the couch. I was working upstairs at my desk when I heard him calling out loudly and persistently. I think he thought we went out again and left him alone. I wonder if he did that every day while we were at Canoe Outing? Poor kitty!

Today is a catch-up day, shopping day, etc. etc. My brother, who lives in Houston, is coming with his children to visit us this weekend. My sister, who lives near Syracuse NY, will be here too, and maybe one of her daughters. So we will be having a mini family reunion all weekend. It will be great for my sister and me to get together with our brother, who is a young 90-year-old. We haven't seen him in about 10 years. I will dig out all of the old family photo albums (including our parents' albums from the early years of the 20th century).

you must be so happy to be home. we love going, but coming home from a trip is so sweet.

funny how cats will yowl even if they are just alone in part of the house. punkin used to do that, too. silly kitters don't know that you're just in another room. Hope Rusty is planning to visit the green lagoon today!

Poor Rusty! He misses you when you are gone. Turnup cries when we leave. We suspected as much and ended up taping it a few months ago.

Sounds like a blast with your family reunion. How great that you can all get together. Sorry I have missed Rusty's condo lately. :sad: Hope you have a great day Ella!!

Of course Rusty misses his beans! Maybe the kitties will have Canoe Outing this week. :lol: Have fun with the family. I better your parents' pictures are wonderful and they would love it that you are looking at them together.

Neko is up for a canoe outing this week. Now we just need to convince her and Rusty that the lagoon has the best waters. Maybe tonight?

You family gathering sounds cool. I'm impressed that your 90 year old brother is doing all that traveling, but you probably have a very hardy family. Looking at old photos is fun.

Rusty continued his "rest day". In fact, he slept on the couch almost all day. The weather was horrible: cold, heavy rain all day, damp in the house. Rusty felt it! I hope the weather will improve for the weekend. We may have to have a fire in the wood stove! My brother and his daughter are flying to Boston, where his son and daughter-in-law will pick him up and they will all drive here. His other son is flying into Burlington and they will pick him up on the way. My sister, who is in her mid 80s, will drive herself here, as usual.

Yo, Rusty, thanks for bringing over the KTSS! The vetty smell wasn't too terrible bad but they did that bum thing and my beans put a sign in my carrier that says "Don't spray anything on Zener". So I was a little stinky from that. :lol:
