Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans and, at some point(s), eating all of his nighttime food. He was raring to go this morning and eager for breakfast (first sitting eaten so far). We had a good test, good shot, delicious lung treat, our schmooze, and he is still napping on the couch.
The weather has turned humid with thunderstorms predicted--just the thing for the Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon. So far the thunderstorms have held off. Here's a description of the courses, for those of you interested in such things: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...placid-2013-route-date-start-time-and-tv-info

Edward and I are about to go for a walk. bbl,

Ella & Rusty

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

What a nice start for Rusty - great on his raring to go, appy, and what a nice amps. Almost green Rusty. I bet the lagoon is next.

WOW on the Ironman! Quite the course/race they will have there today. I so hope that the weather cooperates. Good luck to everyone. Do you know anyone who is competing?

Enjoy your walk today. I am about to head on out on a hike. weather is nice: 65/70, sunny blue skies. YAY! I will send you some of our cool, little humidty stuff.

Enjoy your day!! Elsa says she is on her way....

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116

Morning Ella, sorry I've missed Rusty's condo lately but have thought of you & Rusty. Nice AMPS and looks like the LagoonMeister might be back to his duties. Wow on that Triathalon; I sure hope the weather cooperates. Enjoy your walk.

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116

Nice morning for Rusty. I hope he slides down to the lagoon.

I agree, wow on the Ironman Triathalon. Are you going to watch any of it?

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116

Rusty is on a great launchpad for the Lagoon. He's ready for the start of his own triathlon!

Your walk sounds more appealing to me than the race!  Hoping for good weather for you and the race.

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116

Hi Ella. Rusty is off to a good start for his day. Glad to read that he is raring to go and enjoy his day.

That is quite a course. No wonder they call it an ironman challenge.

Have a great day Ella. Hope you and Edward enjoyed your walk.

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116, +5.5 117

Hi again,
Rusty had some good outdoor time this morning and early this afternoon (until he wanted to come inside to use his litterbox!). He didn't see Chip Chip. Maybe later. So far the rain has held off. Edward and I had a nice walk to and around Moody Pond. We don't plan to go into Lake Placid to try to see some of the Ironman because many roads are closed to traffic and the ones that are open will be a mess. (There is only one road connecting Saranac Lake to Lake Placid.)

bbl, We are putting our boats on the car now (paddle tomorrow) so that we won't have to do it when the carpenter is here with all his equipment tomorrow morning.

Looking good, Rusty! Nice and flat. :-D :-D Thanks for the link to the race info, very interesting. The most I ever did was half an Ironman and that was 30 years ago.

Hahaha, it cracks me up, that Rusty comes in from the great outdoors, to use the box.

Hi Ella
That's quite in interesting surf for Rusty today. You sure your meter is working?

I hope you have a great day for the paddle tomorrow. :-D

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116, +5.5 117

Hi Ella!
Rusty is looking good!
I'm glad he is enjoying his day.
So polite of him to come inside to use his box!

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116, +5.5 117, +9 157

Rusty has another weird cycle today: jumping up when he should be at nadir. Maybe I need to check the meter again, like Barb suggests.

Anyway, he has had a nice afternoon, chillaxin'. He also got his monthly flea & tick preventative, but I don't think that affected his bg, since I gave it at +9 at the same time we did the +9 test.

The winner of the IronMan Triathlon completed it in 8 hours, 43 minutes, 29 seconds. (He was 20 minutes slower than he was last year).

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116, +5.5 117, +9 157, PMPS 119

The +9 must have been a defective strip; it should have been 118  .

Rusty enjoyed his dinner (FF T&G and Wellness Turkey). He's waiting for the TV hour to begin so he can sit in my lap.

Hope everyone is having a good evening; continuing to send vines to all in neeed.

Ella & Rusty

Re: 7/28 Rusty AMPS 116, +5.5 117, +9 157, PMPS 119

I like the deceptive strip theory     I hope the Lagoonmeister will take a dip in the lagoon tonight.

I hope it doesn't take the carpenter long to do the work he needs to do. Glad you and Edward will get out to paddle tomorrow. I hope the weather holds.

Tobes is still getting his snuffles treat which is the same as Rusty's lung treat   I hope he doesn't ever ask it to be mixed with cimmamum.

Have a great evening.
