Yesterday an AMPS +3 of 41 bounced into pink by PM and it hadn't cleared by today's AM. By +5 Papaya was back down to blue, and had been quite active and grooming throughout the evening so I don't think she was feeling too rough. She was even trying to join in a croquinole game that was on the coffee table nearly within stretched-out-paw reach of the couch - every time a disc slid in her direction Papaya's ears would twitch and you could see she was mentally in "pounce" mode even if the body wasn't 100% up for the action!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everyone!

Re: 7/28 Papaya AMPS=360 +5=161 PMPS=144 +3=46 that's 3, red

Just got a PMPS+3 of 46. At this dose of two units, that's now three separate days between 40 and 50 (7/14, 7/27, 7/28). There were also two other days with readings very close to that range (7/21 PM+4=52, 7/25 PM+7=50) so this is a well-earned reduction. She's been in really good numbers almost all of the time on this dose with the 9% carbs Friskies to level out the cycle.

Papaya has been on 2.0 units or more (mostly back and forth between 2.0 and 2.25) for the last six months, so it's really encouraging to see her appear to be ready for a bit less juice.

Congrats on the reduction. Papaya is looking so much better.  Glad to hear she's feeling well too. :-D She's a really good example of a cat that needs just a bit more carbs to flatten out.
