7/28 Musette amps 174!!!!!

After a 307 ps last night, and a scant .25u of her new insulin to this mornings 174 ps...I'm just about ecstatic! Of course since she is this low for her this morning I'm gonna watch her like a hawk, and just about expect her body to freak out slightly. She hasn't seen this low of an amps in forever! But it at least looks like this might be a good start for her, if I can just get her to level out and stay down then she will have a chance to heal her pancreas, and a chance of joining Maxwell at the Falls.

Got to tell you all I'm just about dancing_cat in the streets this morning.

What a difference a good batch of insulin can make.

I wouldn't worry over this being the lowest PS - it's the lowest number in the cycle, whenever that happens, that can cause bounce if they aren't used to it - or it's too low, of course.

Nice number though! She is doing very well.

Okay now I feel like an idiot, I go so excited to see that lovely blue number this morning I raced to the phone to texted it to the hubby, well one small problem, I forgot to give Musette her morning shot, so I sat here all day wondering why the numbers were staying in the yellows until I went to test and shoot tonight...Looked in her cup for her pen and there sat the morning shot still full and laughing at me.

But at least I now know how it happened, and really for no insulin for 24 hours her numbers weren't too darn bad, only barely went over 250 twice and drop herself some after eating.

LOL glad to know I'm not alone in have complete and utter moron moments. haha_smiley

So this morning my phone goes off right at 6:30am (when Musette's shot is do) as I'm grumbling to myself while trying to pick up the phone, saying unpleasant things about who the H%LL would be texting this damn early, get the test strip in the meter and hold on to Musette who clearly wants her breakfast MNOW! I look down to see the text message from Jon...."Poke & Shoot the kitty yet?????" So I finish testing, as expected a little high 291 (need to refill shed), shoot the cat and finally answer the text message with "Yep, thanks"

Reply back "Love you very much.....wash my jeans please!" Hey at least he said please and reminded me about the am shot first...lol
