Gideon's AMPS was low, but he is bouncing. I waited 10 minutes to see which direction he was headed, and he was at 92, so he ate very well a 9% carb food, and he rec'd his 1.75 units of lantus. I will monitor closely. He probably went low during the night. He is my extremely bouncy boy!

Is there anything more I should be doing for my boy? I understand all kitties are different and there is not an exact formula to follow.

You are doing all you can.
. Some cats just bounce until they just don’t. Frustrating us beans but they don’t seem to mind. Sometimes it’s a bad strip and he may not have been that low. ;):banghead:

Thank you Elise! Not a bad strip, since 10 minutes late I tested again and got 92.
Yes, I certainly have a bouncy boy!

I will test at +6, then let him be until I test for the PM dose.

I feel bad that he must have been very low during the night, but had plenty of food.
He acts perfectly fine.

At +6 he is 374. He will probably be in the BLACK by the end of the day.
