Hi LL! It's Monday once again.

Eddie let me get a good night's sleep last night after giving me a run for my money on Friday and Saturday night. His liver really pitched a fit last night about the last string of green numbers (and maybe all the extra carby goodness?). This morning, he started out in pink, but seemed to possibly be on the rocketship down into better numbers. I fed a higher LC for second breakfast, and gave Eddie an extra tablespoon of 11% before leaving for work. I also set the auto feeders with the higher LC for +4 and +5 in an effort to slow him down. At lunchtime (+6), he was at 121 (just one point shy of the "normal" range!). That kind of drop will almost certainly cause a bounce. He's had this pattern a few times now recently, but each time, it's been while I'm at work, so I really don't know how fast he's dropping, or when the fastest drops are occurring so I could try to be more precise with food manipulation to slow the speed of the drop. It seems like when we reduce, I have to wait a few cycles for him to stop the pendulum of bounce-drop-bounce before he shows me what he can really do on a dose. Having gone through the process of fast reductions before, I do worry that the bouncing will eventually get totally out of control again.

Have a good day everyone. Vines and hugs for all beans and kitties who need them today.

Those low blues are nice to see after all that pink. Paws crossed Mr. Liver will get his act together this time and he'll stop imitating a rubber ball.

Nice bounce recovery for Eddie today. I hope it doesn't make him bounce right back up. That's nice you were able to get some sleep last night.

Re: 7/28 Eddie AMPS 331, +6/121, PMPS/107

Well, Eddie must have read your posts Wendy and Carla. His DH in-the-door test at +10.5 was 102, and PMPS was 107. So, it looks like Eddie surfed in blue (maybe even high green?) for a good part of the day today. I have no idea whether Eddie will shoot into a bounce tonight, or whether he will dive early in the cycle, or....maybe, just maybe, he'll give me a nice slow flat cycle. I can dream, can't I? PM +1 is 187, which is pretty high for a food bump, so I suspect a bounce is coming, but maybe he'll turn it back around.

Here's hoping for a nice flat blue to green cycle. You can do it Eddie.

Elise, Eddie must have gotten the message. He's turned it back around for the night. Mamabean fell asleep so Eddie got a tiny pokie break for the night. I'll probably get another test tonight just to get an idea of where he's headed before going back to bed. If he slides down all night and ends up green in the AM, I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet...call in sick??

  I like this one.

I keep threatening DH that next time it looks like there's going to be an exciting AM cycle, HE is going to have to be the one to call in and do PCPCPC all morning.
