Good morning everyone and Happy Thursday !

I would like to thank everyone for their advise on what to do for callie, I read each and every reply and take them all under consideration , I don't know what I would do without FDMB.

when I lowered callies dose it was based on I get pinks with higher dose and she acts sick , sleeps all the time just does not act herself , she has this sad look in her eyes to that breaks my heart.

since she has been on the .25 dose she has been staying in the yellow with ps getting alittle lower each day and she is playing , purring , running up and down the stairs again and just much happier, I check for keytones and she has been neg , her appetite is good , I'm watching her closely I feel at this time this is the right thing to do for callie I will give it a day or two and see how her numbers go ! thanks so much callie and marty

That is good news. Usually it takes a week for a cats body to adjust to the new dose, but it sounds like you are already starting to see some improvement.

I'm a Lantus user, not Prozinc, but I'm wondering why you lowered her dose instead of raising it? It looks to me that she is getting too little insulin. Again, I'm not a Prozinc user so I hope someone who is familiar with that insulin can chime in but it looks like you're going in the opposite direction with the dose.
