Ok Izzy, what are your plans for today? A few nice blues perhaps? Dip those toes in the lagoon?
How are the 5 P's today? (peeing, pooping, purring, playing, preening). A cat is more than their numbers. How do they feel, how their appetite is are good things to talk about.

its' only her numbers I am worried about...all the other Ps are good
She is happy cat. Slow to move, a little wobbly, but climbs up her stairs to my bed every morning to make sure she knows exactly when "I" wake up, cause it's breakfast time
No big on the playing but she is old. I give her catnip and she cuddles her kickerro and uses it as pillow and sleeps after licking the catnip off

I had planned on getting a +3 today but because it took me longer to get the syringe filled...that .25 is hard to judge....and my vacillating on that and then of course 2nd guessing myself...did I? or didn't? give her .25. OMG...did I give .5 and just go straight to the line...did I try to get between the 2 black lines?
UGH....I spent too much time stressing over 2nd guessing myself I shot later than I should have...so now I will only get a 2.6 before I have to leave for my rescue event. Seriously...suck a dork.
Calipers a now on my shopping list today too.
Finally, got a ketones test: Negative.

Be sure to note that negative ketone test on your SS. Remarks column is free form and a good place to note this.

You shot a 177 back on 7/23 PM. This is just a smidge lower.
Do you have plenty of test strips, HC, MC, LC food to guide the numbers and can you stay up to test?
Then I would say go for it and get a test at +1 and +2. That is because this is the lowest number you have shot.
p.s. 150 is our ask for help number. But I certainly understand you want some reassurance on shooting your lowest number yet.

It's probably a dropping number so please follow Deb's suggestion and get a +1 and +2.....but I would also shoot if it were me.
