Good morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) Today is my Friday! WooHoo!! We are heading to Cleveland/Detroit for a 4 day family baseball weekend on Friday. I forgot to mention that we met with the vet tech who is staying at our house with the animals last weekend. She is great and the animals all seemed to love her, so I am very hopeful that it will work out great. Charlie doesn't have to go to the kennel and she knows how to give insulin and check levels. Tarragon is usually very skittish when someone new comes in the house and runs and hides. However, while she was there, he was out in the living room with us the whole time and even sat on her lap.

All 5 p's this morning. Tarragon slept next to me ALL night, which hasn't happened in about a year. He must be feeling really good on this dose and was finally able to get a good nights sleep instead of patrolling all night long. That made for a happy kitty and a happy bean this morning.

Turnup took a tumble off of our 6' double oven last night but seems to be fine today. She did not land on her feet, but she was her normal talky self when it was bed time. Once we get settled, she always comes in and talks and talks until my husband pulls her in close and cuddles her. They sleep like that all night. Aren't I the one he is supposed to cuddle?? :lol: She will have none of that and nips at me if I try. :lol:

I'm sorry but I laughed when I heard you were passed over for cuddles from Turnup :lol: Too cute!

I'm so happy you found a pet sitter that the animals seem taken with, especially Tarragon. How lucky now you can enjoy your family get together, worry free.

Hi Melissa, that sounds like a great little getaway for you and DH. That's great with the Vet Tech babysitting, and it has to be a big relief knowing they are in good hands. So glad Tarragon is feeling good on this dose. Funny with Turnup falling off the oven but glad, too, he didn't get hurt. Have a great time with the getaway trip.

A baseball weekend with your family sounds fabulous. There's nothing more fun than going to a ballgame (well, almost nothing!). Wonderful that you have a competent pet sitter, and one that Tarragon will tolerate shots from. We are relieved that Turnup didn't hurt herself in her fall. She is certainly a Daddy's girl, isn't she!

Happy "Friday!!!" Your getaway weekend sounds wonderful!

It's so nice to hear that Tarragon is feeling good. LOL on Turnup nipping at you should dare and try to move in on her man! The vet tech petsitter sounds ideal, especially since T is comfortable with her. It must be a wonderful feeling knowing you have someone you can trust to take care of them!

:lol: i laughed about turnup and your husband too! i always feel a twinge of jealousy when punkin enjoys the DH too much!

Nice starting AMPS for Tarragon...Oh poor Turnup, I'm upset that she fell,, but she recovered quickly enough to give cuddles to your DH!
Glad for you that you found a good vet tech to care for your babies..Guess this is a good day all around--

Am chuckling over the bedtime cuddle pecking order at your place!! Glad to hear Turnup is okay. Your weekend plans sound fabulous!! So happy that all the kitters like their weekend keeper. Will keep things stress free for you upon your return! And maybe DH will give you some snugs this weekend to boot?? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
