7/27 Six's Gum Day Eleven PMBG 133 (98 OT)

Deep breaths. Remembering what Helene said yesterday about Tizon...

Morning was fine - AMBG 101 (76 OT). I made sure I woke up for middle of the night snack.

Didn't leave the snack today because he has new spots in the house. I'll be gone again tomorrow during snack time and will make sure I leave one tomorrow to see how it goes, but won't know until testing time if he was the one to eat the snack or another kitty (and even then it's just an assumption).

I will test in a few hours to make sure we see the decline like I saw last night.

Any thoughts? Should I be concerned since this happened two nights in a row?

You are using both meters? You are a glutton for punishment.
testing him a couple of hours of food is the way to go.
that's what I did with Max when I ran into higher than
I liked numbers.

Congrats on helping someone out, Amy (yesterday's condo).

I'm pretty sure a vet wouldn't start insulin on a cat with a 133 (or a 98). Maybe not the same as preparing to go OTJ, but I think Six is looking good.

I replied to you in my condo, but then realized that you probably spend more time in your own! Thanks for the visit and support today, Amy. Nice numbers for Six and congrats on Day 11! I think we have mystery-loving kitties on our hands....not wanting everyone to know just what they're up to until they do it. I'll definitely be watching Six's progress. Lookin' good!

Oh Amy, you are so funny with the two meters! I started testing also with two meters towards the end. I just needed to see the green on the Relion. I just could not put down that second meter. Now I am only using the Alpha Trak since the party.

You're almost there. Maggie is waiting for Six. Congratulations on Gum Day Eleven.
