Happy TGIF LL!

Racci's AMPS is a food bg since I overslept and she's used to getting another breakfast when I get up. I just couldn't convince her that it was too late and couldn't resist those eyes. Racci seems to be a little constipated but when she goes it's soft so I don't know what's going on with her. She's just not pooing as often I guess. Other than that she appears fine though not as cheerful as she has been. It could be that sleeping late threw her off so I'm not going to worry about it until I see further signs of somethng wrong. Right now she's in her favorite spot, the window seat, watching the world go by and napping periodically. :smile:

I'm going to try to get out and get some sun while there still is some. It's supposed to rain again this afternoon. I never saw such a rainy summer! I wish the areas that have drought could borrow our rain!

I hope everyone is doing ok today and all kitties who weren't well are feeling better. Sending healing thoughts for those who need them.

Hi Melanie! I hope Racci cheers up a bit for you. Maybe she wants it to be sunny instead of rainy - our cats get ever so blue and grumpy when the sun goes into hiding for a couple of days, as rarely as that happens down here :-)

I noticed your remark about missing Racci's blues at night. I think you may well be right - a lot of cats seem to have lower numbers at night, though I think no one's really sure why. I hope Racci shows you some pretty numbers during daytime hours :-)

Hi Jane,

I think the low nighttime bg must have something to do with the moon and the tides. The moon affects so much. I'm glad you thought the greens were there at night too. I must have been right then. It just seemed to me that if she was waking up low she had to have been lower during the night. Well it looks like she might have turned her days and nights around this morning finally. She was higher blue for her AMPs this morning and now at +3.5 she's green. Thanks!

Hi Melanie, for a food AMPS, that's not too bad! What a nice green with the 72 and looking nice and green later, I bet. I hope Racci's poo is just a blip and she'll be back to herself soon. I think the weather may affect them. You all have had more than your share of rain, and wish you could send some our way.

Mooonie slept all day & acted like she was dragging & tired..Some what better tonite-
First when they start getting lower numbers they eat less, sleep more, pee less, & hopefully the poos get better...I definitely think the weather today affected Moonie, and Racci--Hope they will be better tomorrow!
Hope the poo is just a blip..it happens sometimes--Sending Hugs & Love from us! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

It looks like my condo got busy while I was gone. :razz: We got lucky and had sun most of the day so I got out and finally got some sun today. The sun always makes me feel good like its warming my bones. When I came in I fed & tested Racci, bathed, made dinner, & wound up falling asleep in front of the computer again. You're probably all asleep now.

Racci did finally poo but we had a problem as a piece stuck in her bushy tail when she sat down before I could clean her. Yuck! The bottom of her tail is just too bushy anyway so after cleaning her I trimmed it a bit on the underside.

No more greens until pm+3.5 and then a 41! I guess Racci wants me up all night tonight. I hate this. I feel so cruel. Here she is already in her bed and I have to keep going in and poking & carbing her. Poor Racci.

Racci did the same as Moonie. Slept most of the day, then was more herself tonight but she gets hungry when her bg is low. I don't know why the weather would affect her if she's inside but maybe. It's been so humid!

I wish I could send all of you that need it, my rain! We've had thunderstorms nearly everyday for about a month! Luckily it's only been some of the days that stayed crummy all day. Most of the time it starts getting gray about late afternoon and storms all evening and night.

Yes, I was just about to post it. She's only up to 44. I'm going to give her another 20 minutes or so before I test again. She takes a while to change. She's as happy as can be and keeps looking at me like why are you bothering me and bringing me goodies? :lol: She's happy to take them tho.

What a drag! She's down again. 39. I just fed some more lc & hc & she should be on the rise after +6 and It's +6 nowI hope this starts bringing her up. I've got to get some sleep tonight. :smile: It's 5:30am here!

Hi Helen,

I'm hoping on this next test she'll come up over 50 so I can get some sleep. I need to get at least a few hours to function. I don't want to give too much hc or she'll be super high tomorrow (actually today). :smile:

I just finished and yay! 70! I figured this one would do it but never can tell! That bed is going to feel so good on my aching back. :lol:

I'm going to hit the bed now and try to get a few hours sleep. Hopefully DH will give her breakfast #1.

Thanks for seeing me through it Jane! It's always good to have company on these long nights, especially if it turns out that you need some moral support!
