I have no clue why he bounced to 499 from an overnight low in the 100's, when he had two nights of greens and only jumped up to the 300's. At least he had the decency to stay one point down from a black bounce. *LOL*
It seems that Pumbaa's PM nadir is now at +7. That's why I'm still up at 2:40 am. He had dropped down to 138 at his +7, and I wanted to make sure I didn't go to bed if he was still dropping. At least I got a short nap between his +3 and +6.
Marje posted something on another thread which I did not know, which now explains Pumbaa's weird numbers.
The above so describes the anomalies I've been seeing in Pumbaa's readings and couldn't figure out!
Pumbaa was in fine form tonight, and made me chase him around for 20 minutes for the +8 reading. Once again he thought if he finally went and hid out in the litter box that I would ignore him and go to bed. *LMAO* What a pistol he is!
Suze (very tired and not ready to get up in 3 hours for another round of this)

I think it is really important to distinguish between a dropping number and a second dip.
A dropping number often occurs when kitty is clearing a bounce and numbers continue to decrease all day from AMPS into PMPS. There is no clear nadir.
A second dip often occurs with lantus. You will see a nadir and then numbers rise, and then drop again close to the next PS but not as low as the nadir.
