This looks like a bounce for sure today. If I were feeding him, I would hold off on feeding much and/or stick to lower end of low carb food. Merlin usually seems to be able to get into somewhat lower numbers even on a bounce cycle- I’m sure he will at least get into yellow - and I hope blue. Tonight will perhaps be busy.

Congratulations on the blue preshot! Merlin seems to be flattening into this dose (i’ll probably bite my tong today when he will prove me wrong 
). Seems to me that even in active cycles he doesn’t go that low green and it doesn’t take too much intervention to keep him from dropping.
Jill if i can advice you smth, it would be to spare yourself some tests. i follow Merlin’s story from the beginning and i know that he is a diver and manages to surprise all of us now and then but by now you know so much more about him than in the beginning. i recommend you from my heart to spare yourself from some tests. remember that we never know when our kitties will get to remission, it might take months or even years in some cases, it has to be sustainable for you in the long run.
I know it’s nerve racking to consider this when you see the dives, but you can start by skipping some tests in a bouncing cycle. For example on this dose if you’re still in pink at +2 i wouldn’t bother to test +2.5, a +3 is enough. If you are in yellow at +3, +4 is most probably not going to be green, so a +5 should be ok to test. But you know Merlin’s patterns best to be able to decide when it is safe to skip a test and when it is not, just do what makes you feel comfortable but don’t forget about yourself as well
