Hi Wednesday morning! Maggie allowed me to sleep in, and I awoke with her beside me with one of her little stuffed animals on the bed. This is a little stuffy toy I first got her when I adopted her, and she still gets it out and plays with it. It was sort of a security blankey I think, as she always carried it in her mouth making sounds. This is 11 years later, and she still does it! I think she was a year old or less when I found her, and she adopted me. Everything is good today with Mags. No deposit in the sand box yet, but that usually comes later after I clean everything up! Not sure yet what I'm doing today, except right now waking up and have already done my exercises. I have a telephone appt. at 6:30 am, so it's why I'm up so early Hope everyone has a nice Wednesday.

So nice Maggie still cuddles her first toy. Tarragon adopted a very large stuffed dinosaur that is bigger than him. He drags it everywhere.

Hope you have a great day!

+3 158 Maggie has decided on a flat day!

Hi Iorwen, I know usually they give up a toy, but Mags is keeping this one, and it is so raggedy! I had to tell the petsitter last year to leave it out for her.

Hi Melissa, what a kick with Tarragon dragging the stuffed dinosaur around! These cats are hilarious with all their quirks!

Dont take away her snuggie!! It's her security blanket...Numbers look good today--Hope you see green later-Hugs from us!

+3 122

My syringes came in the mail, and what a difference as now I'm able to measure with the zero falling on the first line. I knew Maggie was getting lower by the way she got up from a nap and started chowing down. Now sleeping like a log!

How wonderful with the toy that she still has after all this time - that is just too cute, too cool. Nice too that Maggie let you sleep in - with her fav toy. How nice is that?

HOORAY on the arrival of the new syringes - nice isn't it when the numbers and the lines are where they are supposed to be. I hope the new ones work great.

Have a good nice guys - I like Maggie's +3!

Glad you got new syringes. You will realize how bad the old ones really were. I can't believe they could vary as much as they did.

I thought of Maggie today. I bought a real fur mouse on a pole. It goes against my value system completely but I did it for Hefner. I bought him a mouse on a pole that wasn't fur and he broke it. He kept trying to carry it away!!!! Is Maggie's real fur? I wonder if I should cut it off the pole or keep it on the pole. It was HILARIOUS! He didn't want the others playing with it.

I was Champ's stuffy toy when he came into our household!!! From the day we adopted him, he hasn't left my side!!

Maggie's has a nice little blue surf today!! What kind of syringes did you get (and what kind did you used to use)? I use the ReliOn and they're a little wacky sometimes!!

Nice numbers on the A Trak for Maggie. I think it's wonderful that Maggie still has her very first toy and still loves it as much as ever. How nice that the new syringes arrived and that you like them. Did you get the Monojects?
Enjoy the evening. Ann, did you say you had a conference call at 6:30 A.M.?? Wow! I'm impressed that you can function professionally at that hour!

Hi Michelle, yes, the same original stuffed little Teddy Bear, really something. Yes, what a difference with the new syringes.

Hi Karrie, yes the difficult syringes were from Walgreens, and now I see just how bad they were, just this box. I've used them previously and were okay. Maggie's mouse is just a fake furry mouse. What a riot that Hefner won't let anyone else play with his toy. It's like it's from his Mom and it belongs to him. I can't get over how easily he adapted. What a loveable boy kitty!

Hi Patty, these syringes were from Hocks - Sienne recommended them. Offhand I don't have the link, but a lot of the Beans also recommended the Monojets from American Diabetes wholesale. Rusty gave me this line, I mean Ella, lol!
