LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Lola and Bug say that it is Caturday and they are sleeping in. Really sleeping in. :shock: I dunno on any pies today, they still need to celaans up from TPIF day.... well on the good side, alot is almost already to go then. no prep work! Hmmmmm... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

I hope everyone had a great Friday! Thanks everyone for visiting me, Nicholas and the Three Musketeers yesterday. I was so tired... so please forgive me for not answering each post individually yesterday like I normally would. I read them all, and do thank you guys for taking the time to post. Nicholas and I had a really great day, very busy, as he decided a nap was not on his dance card, so we were on the go from early on in the morning. :shock: I SO NEED ROLLER BLADES! :lol: :lol: :lol: oh to have the energy of a two year old, and to be able to keep up with him. :smile: ;-) ;-) well, it was a grate day despite that, quite fun actually. Here's what I wrote in last night's post: "HI everyone! Sorry to be so MIA today.Today was just insane, incredible busy, nutsville with whip cream on top. Nicholas and I had a great, but very very busy day. Pool was good, though his frustration with the no big pool was there today. It was a hot topic of conversation for him. ;-) Latest word is that it will be available come the week after labor Day. Long time for a 2 yr old to wait. Oh well, it is what it is, and we wait... It didn't help today either when they closed the hot tub. We use that as it is the only area available with any water depth. Seems the pool guy couldn't figure out why the clarity of the water was compromised when the jets were turned on. Not to mention an unbearable chlorine levels. all the kids were coughing, tearing eyes, etc etc etc. other than that - a great time there for him. Neither one of us stopped moving. :lol: :lol: :lol: shesshhhh! We hit the trails after that - blackberries are ripening well, very tasty! Today was one of those days when napping was not on his agenda. I could see that coming when the ride home at nap time was filled with non-stop chatter in the backseat. LOL! :shock: :shock: :roll: :roll: :lol: :razz: No way was that kid sleeping... so we went to the beach at Picnic Point instead. That was great. He was running in the surf, laughing, just having a super time. Awesome says it well. SO MUCH FUN there. We brought buckets and shovels and water toys. I can still see him running in and out of the surf. It was so cool. anyways - grammie is worn out, LMAO. so do me a favor, anyone, and have a beer or three for me. :lol: :lol:". just kidding on the beer.... ;-) Here's the Picassa link to the photos, and videos (tail, and beach, no swim (still upload issues with the underwater videos): Swimming, Berries on the Trail, and Picnic Point Beach

NORMALCY in Three Musketeerville. Bug once again let Nicholas pet him, but just for a moment. He's working on building that trust issue. Nicholas just has to be a little more patient, so Bug doesn't think he is a crazy man. :lol: :lol: Elsa has been working the nanners big time. Still amazes me that the others do not mess with her toys. Kinda cool actually. They seem to know that Mannie bequeathed them to her, and leave them alone. Lola... well Lola is being Lola. :lol: :lol: Yesterday as Nicholas and I are about to leave for the beach Lola runs up the stairs, and promptly starts to scoot along the carpet. :shock: Nicholas thinks it is hysterical and laughs and laugh and laughs. I on the other hand think "oh CARP! Poo stuck to the butt!" so After her I go. She runs, gets out of my reach and scoots some more. repeat that scene about 30 more times, before I finally get a handle on her, dunk her tush in the sink and give the poor girl a bath... yupp! stuck poo. shesshhhh! she was not happy. :roll: never a dull moment with that one. I can laugh about it now, but then? :-x :o :o and some :shock: :shock: , followed by :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Lola and Nicholas shared breffis together yesterday again. That so reminds me of Mannie and DGS. They rarely missed a meal together. I took a few photos: Breffis! Nicholas and Lola

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be today. I really do need to get some catchup work done here at home, plus the shopping, and all that laundry. then again.... we are due for more sunny weather, and there is a huge part of me that wants to take advantage of that and go hike. We shall see what winds out.... :-D I suspoect errands and more than likely just a local hike.

Morning Michelle ~O) :lol: yes, you do need some roller blades! After reading all of what you and Nicholas did yesterday, I am tired for you. :lol: Sounds like he is having the time of his life though and how neat to be able to do so many things with him and visit all the river spots.
I always love those breffifs with lola pics. Can't believe she's eating berries. She wants what Nicholas is eating. Neat pics of swimming and the berry picking, too.
Have fun with catch up stuff and hope you get in a nice hike, too.

Awwwww the Breakfast Club is so sweet. Totally reminds me of the pics of Mannie enjoying cheerios with Nicholas. :-D

The term Energizer Fish may have to be expanded to outside of the pool ~ he sure is on the go! Rollerblades or not I bet he keeps you going :lol: . (You might need a jet pack instead ;-) !)

Hey Lola - Can we call you scooter butt from now on! :-D :-D

You need to do what I do, pick a nice spot on a rug (my bean prefers that I use the bathroom rug) and leave your prezzie there. And don't let it chase you, or you will have to play scooter butt again!

I always make sure to leave prezzies on the rugs just after she washes them and put them out. I so love to leave prezzies on nice clean rugs. Then I get to hear her say - MAUI - I just cleaned the rugs, why must you do that! :lol: :lol: :lol: It's so fun! You should try it sometime! I bet you can make your bean call your name and say things too!

Wow, you really do need roller blades :-D :-D

Poor Lola and the poopy butt. You reminded me of how I had to do that for my GA kitty Gypsy. She also would sometimes get poopy stuck in her long haired butt!! :shock: She never liked the bath and trim that came after :-D

I loved the video of Nicholas eating those berries!! Boy, can he pack them in! They looked sooooo juicy and good! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D He is teaching Lola to enjoy them too!

I'll believe it when I see it, that you stay home and do chores on a gorgeous day that is! :lol: :lol: :lol: Enjoy the nice weather while you can!

I like the jet pack, roller blades wouldn't work well on the beach! :lol: :lol: of course then Nicholas would want one too! :shock:

Elsa, your timing is always perfect w/ the Double shot espressos! but maybe a couple of the 10 hour energy coffees would help these beans today! Thanks -- auntie Annbean

Hi guys,

Michelle, you absolutely must take advantage of the good weather and get out there and hike. Cleaning can be done any old time.
Lucky Nicholas gets to sleep in the car while you do the driving. No wonder he's outrunning you!!

Love the pics, especially the beach at Picnic Point. Do people swim there? It doesn't look like anyone is actually swimming. Is the water cold there?

Elsa, thank you so much for the delicious ~O) . Please wake Bug and Lola up and tell them to get their pizza ovens going: Chef Rusty has put Paw Prints' assorted pizzas on the menu for Willie's OTJ party tonight. Get crackin' kitties!

Morning everyone! Is it still morning? I dunno.... I am off shortly for a local hike. The needs to dos at home won out, and now that most are done, I can head out for a bit, enjoy this fabulous weather we are having. :cool:

We will do local today, an extended hike tomorrow. :cool: :-D LOL, and true on Nicholas, when he does nap that is. He will sometimes dose off, but usually now he is too busy looking for trains on the move to sleep. :lol: :lol: THX on teh pics. The water is cold, and some do swim, most do not. We get alot of seaweed that washes up on the shore here at home, so alot elect to just wade/play in it.

Hi Jane ~O) ~O) ~O) Sometimes I think I really do, on days that are as busy as this weeks have been with Nicholas. oh yes on the poopy butt. not fun! Lola is a long hair too, so removal is really a pain. Washing is required.... THX on the vid. I thought it was fun. it's a kick to watch him pick them and shove them in his mouth, once right after the other... :lol: :lol:

It sounds like you and Nicholas had a great day yesterday. I hope you got rested up before you left for your hike. Have a great hike. Poor Lola. I hate it when that happens. Furball is not happy when I have to clean her fur back there. Thankfully that only happens once in a while.

I think the roller blades would work if you could put a harness on Nicholas so he can pull you. :lol: :lol: Yum on the blackberries! Those were my favorite as a kid in Illinois but I always managed to get in the poison ivy too. :-x

Hi Carla :-D I felt bad for Lola too. I new it bothered her, yet she just would not cooperate in the butt washing either. Poor kitty! but we did get her cleaned up. Thank goodness this has been a one time thing. ;-) THX on yesterday, and today - we did have a great time - so much fun, :-D

Hi Liz :-D I like that idea: a harness and he can pull me. Awesome! The blackberries are, so far, really good this year: fat and juicy, I think they are Nicholas's too. They are just everywhere here too! :roll: :cool:

Chalk me up as another person who got tired reading all you did with Nicholas yesterday! :lol: :lol: Jet pack or roller blades, something is needed. :-D

The pics of the beach look great. It reminds me I haven't been to the beach on my parents island yet. The water seems just a bit warmer in August for some reason. Maybe I'll do that next time and pick blackberries afterwards. Your condos always inspire me. :smile:

Cute pics of Lola and breakfast - she sure seems to be channeling Mannie there. :YMHUG: Sorry on the bum scoots, the one drawback of long haired kitties. :roll:

Hi Wendy :-D Yes, days like yesterday were rather insane. @-) Hey - thanks! it 's nice to know that these posts inspire folks.. cool! The beach was so nice yesterday, Nicholas didn't mind the water at all, got as wet as he could, must have felt darn good. THX too on the Lola and DGS pics - i think so too: so much of Mannie in her breffis visits. :-D Now if i could just prevent any future bum scoots! :lol: :lol:
