Zener is doing ok today, except for stinky pinks. :-x He went on yard patrol in the am and then again around +5. He worked on the catnip bush and then had to check out the mousies in the composter, because he caught a mouse last night! :shock: :cool: :lol: Well, I imagine that Tillie caught it first then Zener got to play with it. He would pick it up in his mouth, drop it then pat at it. He thoroughly enjoyed it and was quite full of himself. :-D Poor mousies, they are not liking this game so much but there were only a couple when I stirred the composters this morning, instead of 10 or 15. So I am liking that.

We gave him another 100 ml of fluids at about +6.5 so that will probably bring down his BGs. He's out in the cabana now. I don't think that's great for keeping him hydrated but he loves it so.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Mariko's Lucy, Dyana's J.D., Amy's DF, Wendy's DM and DA, Molly's DF. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Caturday.

I hope Zener slides down soon. I'm glad Zener is doing okay today and enjoying his cabana. It sounds like the kitties are doing a good job cutting down the mouse population.

I'm glad he got to have some fun with the mousie yesterday.

PMPS +1 :mrgreen: :o uh oh....

Not so sure how much of this is a classic Zener slide since we did fluids this afternoon, and Z's appy is not very good. Perhaps we should have skipped or shaved.... oh well, time will tell. Honey laced treats are at the ready.

Oh my...come on, Zener, best eat your fuds...or are you holding out for the honey laced treats?!?! nailbite_smile :lol: Yeah, better eat your fuds, too! Besides, you have to keep up your strength so that you can catch more mice...or at least play with them!!!! Be good, Z!

Whoa, Zener! That was one heck of a cliff dive!!! :mrgreen: You might want to back 'er down just a tad. Showing that mouse who's boss must have really gotten you fired up!

How nice that you have kitties that earn their keep! I don't think mine would have a clue what to do with a mouse if it walked up and smacked them across the face. Except maybe Cinco, since he was an outdoor kitty (but then it would have to smack him, since he can't see it!). :lol:

We've had a lovely early evening thunderstorm to finally cool things off after a very hot day. No mouse patrol tonight!

Both kitties were pretty lethargic with low appy today. Zener did not feel well at all this evening, and we struggled to get him to eat after his first dinner at PMPS and his numbers took a cliff dive. Perhaps he was just holding out for the honey laced treats, of which he got several with those low early cycle numbers and poor appy. The cooler temps seem to be making us all a little more comfortable tonight.

Paws crossed for a better day for our guy tomorrow. cat_pet_icon

I was hopeful he was doing better at the beginning of the condo. I'm sorry he's not better tonight and you are having to work green numbers.

Thanks Marje, he had a good start to his day, but it's not been a very good afternoon or night. Appy is practically absent, except he still loves his honey laced treats.

The rain smells so heavenly! :-D
