After taking a break from the lagoon yesterday, Trix headed back this morning :mrgreen: . I'm toying with the idea of trying out Paw Lickin again...she loved it so, and is sooooo sick of Wellness right now. Now that I've got her in good numbers again, if the Paw Lickin causes a rise, I know I can take it out of the rotation right away, before things get too out of hand. It would be nice to be able to offer her more variety.

Frankie has been in one of her "scratch all night" modes, which, in turn, causes Zen to fall into his "pet me all night" mode....he does not like to be "outdone" in the department of getting attention. I wish I knew what the trigger is, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. The Feliway helps a bit, I think, but it's not the miracle I was hoping for/needed. Hopefully this scratching cycle will be short-lived. DH and I are really tired today. It's my day off, but I have too much to do to be this tired.

I also realized last night that today marks 7 months since Mario has crossed. I still miss him, and still find myself looking for him. I also see his personality traits in the other kitties now, too....I believe has has passed them along to let me know he is always with me. Frankie now has his lack of focus when it comes to eating (every little sound distracts her) and his heat butts; Noah has his chirps; Trixie and Noah both lounge in the doorways he used to hang out it (I don't know why, but he liked to lay in between rooms); Petey hangs out in the bathroom with me and rolls around on the bath mat; Zen has his "look at me, I'm cute" seductive looks.

Sending extra prayers out to Jamie and Jupiter as well as Willie as he approaches the end of his OTJ trial. All of LL is always with me....have a great one!

Hi Amy, that's a nice drop to green. She's doing so well with her numbers I can understand the hesitation. But as you say, you can give it a short try and take it out if it spikes her too much. I know Mags loves the juice part, and I should use it as one for her, too.
Hugs with the 7 months that Mario has crossed. I believe that the traits can be passed onto the other pets, as I noticed it with Mags when my GA kitty passed. I hope the scratching is short lived. Nice for a day off today.

Trixie is looking good. I hope that the Paw Lickin' doesn't raise her bgs. I haven't noticed that it raises Rusty's, but I don't feed it exclusively and I usually only give him a teaspoon or so at a time, watered down and chopped up (he only has 5 teeth). He continues to like it and I just ordered another case from Wag.com (amazingly fast shipping: ordered last night, shipped today, and projected to arrive tomorrow--a Saturday!!)

Sorry to hear that Frankie is still scratching. After living with Stu's nighttime pounding on the doors (open or closed) for the 9 years he lived with us, I can sympathize. Of course you will get used to it :lol: (And just think how strong she is getting!)

It's neat that Mario is sending your gang little messages about how to conduct their lives. Maybe he'll talk some more to Frankie and tell her that door-scratching is not cool.

I sure wish Mario would send Frankie "settle down" thoughts from above. He was always a great sleeper....snoozed all night long without waking up the beans. How 'bout it, Mario??? Little help down here?

Nice surfing! Sorry about the scratching. That really stinks. I hope it is short lived. Gosh it doesn't seem that long since Mario crossed. It is nice that the other kitties give you little reminders of him. Have a great day off Amy and get some rest.

I wasn't fully expecting such a nice flat slide into PMPS. Hopefully the flatness will carry on throughout the evening!

I'm curious about your Paw Lickin' experiment. I hope it can be a non-numbers-raising alternative to the blah Wellness.

I hope Frankie will be able to remember how nice it is to get a good night's sleep. Hopefully your sweet Mario can help out...

We'll get another before bed test, but it does look like we've got a nice flat surf again. She's usually pretty consistent with finding that surfboard by +2.

I'll try out Paw Lickin' again with dinner tomorrow. I thought it raised her BGs when I first tried it, but wasn't completely sure. Time to give it another go-around.

Yes, I still miss Mario every day...hard to believe it's already been 7 months.

I'm very happy that Trixie is doing so good! :-D
I hope she can eat the food she likes AND keep these nice numbers at the same time.
