TGIF!!
WCR: So far, we have pee, small poo (thanks Liz for the lush poo vines! Keep 'em coming, please!), play, very little preen, no purrs. Her appy has been so-so today. I think she's been holding out for the good fuds (i.e. mid-high carbs). She still seems somewhat withdrawn and grumpy. I just don't know. I know I've asked this before, but has anyone else noticed the correlation between icky kitty sinuses and crappy appy? I know that when my sinuses are problematic, Shasta's are going to be icky. She's been sneezing along side of me and rubbing her eyes just like her mama. I'm sure it's just her being picky, but I thought I'd ask. Also, I think she's tired of me being here so much!!! Ok, off to get more stuff done around my house and run a package to the post office.

Rhiannon ~ I love the pweeee's! Makes my heart happy! :-D

Wishing everyone a wonderful Friday! Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Hi Deborah,
I have allergy too, and when my sinuses are bothering me, I don't feel like eating, especially with stuffy/snotty nose.
Even when I'm hungry, it takes too much effort to chew and swallow food when my nose isn't completely through, because I need to reserve my mouth for breathing.
Lucy's appetite decreases when her nose is stuffy/snotty, sometimes not too badly, and sometimes worse like this morning....
Lucy's doing much better now (thank you for visiting this morning).
I hope Shasta's allergy is better too!

I'm sorry you and Shasta are dealing with allergies right now. My vet told me I can give my kitties 1/4 of a tablet of Zyrtec to help with the sneezing. I bought the 10 mg tablets and after a couple of days it did help. I gave it once a day because the bottle said it is a 24 hour drug. Maybe it would help Shasta. Nice blues for Shasta today.

It's our 3rd wettest July on record and we still have 5 days so we have lots of vines growing here. Not like Florida but good for here, so I'm sending plenty to Shasta. With people, a stuffy nose means poor smelling and that hurts the appetite. Might be the same for cats, I don't know. Eat yer fuds, Shasta!

Hi Mariko, Carla & Liz ~ Thanks for checking in on us today. Shasta's appy has been WUNDERBAR this evening! Meaning, I did not have to break out the mid-carb or the high-carb because her numbers are bouncy, bouncy and she actually got up and ate on her own. No holding her bowl for her or chasing her around! :-D :-D

We had some hilarious play time earlier involving her wire toy w/ rolled pieces of cardboard on the ends. It was her older toy (she has a new one now), so I wrapped it around my sewing chair so that she could bat at it while I was sewing. Hilarious!!!! We caught about 5 minutes of snuggle & purr time in a Mannie Beam. She was acting like my sweet Shasta tonight. I don't know why, but I'm sure it has something to do with her being a cat. :-D Oh, and I've been bribing her with PureBite treat to be my friend...so that might have something to do with it.  Ok, we're off to bed. Good night!!
