Yesterday: Yesterday was like the previous days. Lowest reading recorded at PMPS. I'm trying to figure out where did Rosy hide her nadir confused_cat ; canbe some hrs after +7 I did a test at PM+10 but the reading is the same as the +6.
I am very happy that in general her bg has came down after the one drop of insulin increased since 24th. Canbe she's having a more flat curve that's why I cannot identify the lowest reading... :lol: :lol: Always giving her the benefit of doubts!

Today: A rainy day after the storm. Weather is getting cooler, around 24 degrees. Some of my furry babies are feeling the drop in temperature & is sleeping on their felted bedding. Poor thing, they are so fragile! Wonder how they were once living in back street alley? When the temp is cooler (around 21 degrees), Ive to turn on the electric blanket on the large opium bed for them!

AMPS 200 gave canned breakfast & 0.9u
Food given at AMPS, +2, +8, PMPS & +3

You are so funny!! Looked at Rosy's SS & like Moonie she has a nice green number, once or twice in 2 days & then bounces for 3 days after!! Not unusual as bounces can last 72 hrs--Rosy is doing well, and hope she comes down today, as she has a nice start with this 200--Hope the drop helps & you see a good difference--
24 degrees?? you just had a typhoon!! isnt it summer there? or am mixed up??

Thanks Roni! Yes we just had the typhoon. Before the typhoon it was very hot & stuffy, highest around 35 degrees. After the storm & rainning for 2 days, we are now at 24 degrees. Usually Tiger, my alpha male will throw up if there is sudden drop in temp. So I ve to be very careful to maintain a constant temp inside the apt. nailbite_smile

Rosy, that's the wrong way! Turn that around. Your kitties have a great life, Helen. 24 must seem a bit chilly after 35. ;-)

Yes Liz. Obviously my kitties lead a better life than me! :lol: They have better quality of food, using premium litter sand, best feline vet in HK, 24 hr room service...But the love they are giving me pays off for everything! I always hope I can squeeze out extra for them. :lol: :lol:

AM+8 248 gave canned lunch (giving Rosy very little food at this time) because this is the scheduled lunch for the rest & I hate to have her left out)
I guess this is her nadir of the AM cycle?

Hello Helen! Rosy seems do be doing well, that's great :smile:

I remember that kind of temperature drop from when I lived in Japan - in the hottest months, we'd also have days of 40 degrees with 90% humidity - it was like walking through soup... And then there'd be this massive rain storm, and the next day it'd be 10 or 15 degrees cooler. Pretty taxing! Your furbabies are lucky to have you helping them through the weather's mood swings (and everything else)!

Rosy's nadir for this AM cycle is at +8. I think she is in a "little bounce" from the touch of a "little" green yesterday :lol: :lol:

Not a bad bounce considering the green yesterday. Our kitties like to keep us guessing with the nadir. I thought I knew what Simon's is, but he constantly seems to be changing it!

Stay warm! You do take such great care of your kitties. An opium bed?? That sounds interesting!

Hi guys ... sorry for the bounce, but at least it wasn't a high one .. To crazy on your weather systems over there .. Now that the weather has dropped cooler, will it stay that way or will it go back up to warmer temps?

Thanks Georgia! Yes I've got a full size opium bed in the middle of my sitting room for my cats to lounge on. I've placed an electric blanket on the bed for warming up the bed during winter time.

After these few days of cooler weather, the temp will go up again next week. We are having hot temp till around Nov.
