We made the trip north safe and sound today. It took about 1 hour longer than usual, but was otherwise OK. Today was a good day for driving. It was nice, but somewhat overcast for most of the way. This was good because direct sun is too hot for Rose in the car (even with the AC full blast).
I was very surprised to see the sky already looking like fall. Everything on the ground is still green, but with so much grey in the sky, it really did look like fall. We had some light rain for the last hour of the trip. Luckily, I was able to unload the car before a steady rain started late this afternoon. Along the way, Rose took out 2 pee pads but that is a heck of a lot better than one of my car floor mats like last trip.
Lucky for me, I am traveling with the convenient Costco size box of 100. 
Her numbers are high because she doesn't like to travel. I hope she will relax tomorrow and we can re-establish her routine. She really does like everything to run on schedule.
