Hi LL!

Purrcie got to spend most of the day outside, his favorite thing. It was so nice and cool here today, just beautiful and he LOVED going out and laying in the sun with the civvies. I got some great pix of them lounging around on the deck in a big pile, they were so cute. Someday when I am a little old lady I plan to do paintings of all my kitty pictures. Now I'm too busy trying to scratch out a living! :lol:

Purrcie was REALLY wiped out this morning when he got in from Maggies party, he had to catch some Zzzzzzzzzzzzs! Then he donned his new deputy cop cat uniform and had to report to work at Mannie's. He's learning to secure perimeters from a real pro! When he came home he told me all about his new job, and how nice Mannie was to him. He was kind of scared at first but he said Mannie is really cool to work for. He can't wait to go back!

Since it was cool today I decided to bake a cake. I hate baking stuff when it's really hot out but today was perfect so made this scrumptious lemon cake! It's a perfect summer time treat! time for a snack!

Purrcie! You are the BEST DEPUTY ever! I had such fun working with you today - you are a natural at this cop cat thing. See you tomorrow for more training? But tonight is for parties and eating and cooking and dancing. PAR-TAY! ~~ Mannie

Outside has got to be Mannie's favorite place too - he just loves it. Winter however is a different story, but for now - the best! It's fun to watch him outside. He will come and sit when I work i the yard - nice to have the company.
