Howdy LL!

I'd made this long post earlier, with pictures and everything, previewed it, and when I hit submit, it disappeared! cat(2)_steam

Purrcie is having an excellent weekend. He's started an exercise class with the civvies! Here he's doing his morning stretches while Nutmeg looks on.

Other than the storm Sienne sent me from Chicago( I asked you to keep that at your place!) we had a quite night last night and a small down pour this AM. Right now the sun is just shining bright and everything is so green and floweres blooming. It's just beautiful. A little too hot and humid for me but you have to have that if you want green stuff!

Purrice tried on his new deputy cat uniform, fits purrfect ;-) and Monday morning will be reporting for duty under his new boss Mannie!

Gonna make meatloaf for me and the Ps today. Should be a nice dinner.
Guess I better go get it started!

Hey Purrcie! nice exercise program you got going there! I LOVE to stretch on trees - it is sooooooo nice. I am glad too that your deputy uniform fits! We will have the best patrolled yards in the whole planet - we will have to compare notes after our perimeter patrol - make sure all is secure. Deputy Purrcie!: you rock! See you at the parties? oomph, I think I ate too much meatloaf! But it was sooo good! I ended up having to make it on the stovetop instead of baking it like I usually do because, after I started to bake it the stove started smoking! :o
It was because there was a glob of something left on the bottom from the last time something was baked in there and holy SMOKES it's a wonder the fire department didn't show up!

So I couldn't use the oven till it cooled down and then I could clean that mess up! BLARGH!But it turned out amazingly delicious and there is just enough left for a nice hot open face meatloaf sandwich with gravy for lunch tomorrow!

Purr Man had a fabulous day! He took me for three different walks, once with Shadow, once just me and him and once with Nutmeg this evening when we sat outside at dusk and watch the sunset and I used binoculars watching bats grab insects. Man they are so agile and fast!

He has has program. Eat, out, lead an expedition then back in and nap. Today he and his sister decided to camp out on my bed and listen to soft jazz, it was SO cute with them snuggled up back to back. They have a big beach towel they sleep on and with both of them on there there wasn't much room left. Blossom has really filled out on this new LC grain free and raw diet. She looks like a fur football.

Well enough rambling. I need to go put the dishes away. :roll:

Hi Myla, You are so lucky to still have bats. Here almost all of them have succumbed to "white-nose syndrome". We are very worried.
On a happier note, Purrcie is doing fine.

I'm glad Purrcie understands the importance of stretching before a workout. :lol: Great pic.

Hope he worked himself out into some greens.
