Yesterday, complete with PJ party and imaginary pie until PMPS +8

All right, 'fess up. Who was it? I left Papaya alone with the computer for a few hours to go berry picking, and when I come back she has clearly gotten an invitation to a PJ party again. Was it you, Tomcat? Lucky? Tashie? Neko? Tigger? Innocent-eyed Gracie? It's like this, kitties, your beans are going to start acting very oddly if they don't get some sleep soon. I am so going to take away Papaya's internet privileges . . .

We started blue, did a little bounce into yellow and cleared it right off for a low blue PMPS. Looks like it's good I got to go BTB this morning and had a relaxing afternoon prowling in the bush with deer. See some of you (much) later, I suspect!

Oh and Carl: You asked but no, I didn't leave a snack out for Papaya when I went to bed at PMPS+8. She sleeps right under the covers with me and unless food is about a foot from her face she won't go looking for it, not being very good on her back legs yet. I am just not going to sleep with Friskies pate smeared on my pillow . . . that is where this vegetarian draws the line  Anyways she was tucked into a tight little cat ball that clearly said her tummy was full and she was not moving until AMPS!

Looks like another pie party happening tonight! Or maybe you'll be lucky and she'll just surf the blues all night long. Papaya is looking GREAT!

ohhhh? even in your earlier...less calm and collected days? I bet you had platters of Friskies circling your toes back in the day :-D

well, yes, we may be up with each other again tonight.....Papaya and Tom practically have matching PMPS values.

Later....

Hi Amy! Those are some good lookin' berries.

Papaya's SS looks boo-tiful, got a baby bounce there. Sure does seem to like that green in the wee hours, though!

i can relate! The last time I fed Tigger last night I was so dopey I smeared Wellness up my sleeve & on my front. Went to bed with Turkey & Salmon wafting over me. Vegetarian here, too!

Hope you get an earlier night tonight - but Papaya's SS sure looks great - congrats!

Re: 7/26 Papaya AMPS=135 +6=220 PMPS=123 +3=133

Hello Wendy, Kelly and Suzanne! I am clearly operating on half a brain because I gave Papaya twice the usual helping at +1.5. I was finding it odd she wasn't that interested in clearing her plate until I stopped to think what fraction of the can of Friskies I'd actually sliced up. Duh. So it may be slight food overload that is keeping her level at the moment. After I tested at +3 she still sat up in her "waiting for food" pose so I gave her a bit more. She had a slurpy tummy-cleaning session after that and is now napping contentedly. I think I'd better join her for while and catch a few winks in case this turns into a long  night again! I'll check in a bit later.

Hi Amy,
Thank you for the beautiful pic of the berries! Yum!

Plenty of kitties diving into the lagoon tonight, so there's still time for Papaya to join the party!

Hi Carl - I'm thinking saskatoon scones . . . mmmm.

Papaya is very nicely sliding down and just ready to dip her toes in green, which is a nice change from diving in whisker-first. I'll keep an eye on thing for a while, though, in case her big meal from earlier decides to wear off abruptly. Kitties who are already diving in, be safe!
