Yesterday, bit of a rainbow day, lots of blue at night.

7/25 Recap:

Now I'm wondering if I should have retested yesterday's +9 - it's not in keeping with the rest of her cycles lately. I think she needs a bit more juice unless a miracle happens by tomorrow morning. Blue is nice but green is better.

The sun is back in full force today so Neko is maximizing her solarium time. She was shadowing me when I got back from the rowing group breakfast this morning. I like to think she wanted attention - I'll ignore that it was probably because it was food time. :lol: :lol:

Another late condo - feeling exhausted here. Btb went on a bit long today and then had to help DH moving some garbage before the time was up on the van rental. OT: Row was a great long one, it's so much nicer when the sun is up. We're now changing to head race season - long distance races. I prefer the distance races but it is tiring. We saw a bunch of large (dinner plate size) lion's mane jellyfish today, deep enough not to be dangerous.

Healing vines to cats and beans in need, and their families. Seem to be a lot of them lately. Happy Birthday Mariko!

Time to get busy, Neko! Mamabean is starting to get a twitchy trigger finger. Hopefully, she's having a flat blue cycle right before Mr. Greenie comes to visit. :mrgreen:

Well, Neko likes to keep me on my toes. :o We had a good nail trim and PT session this afternoon. Maybe not a "good" session as she was grumbling during the nail trim but I got it done all in one go with no bodily damage. :lol:

I talked to DM this afternoon and she seems fine. She talked more about the water system they were working on (all fixed now) and her sister. DA's cut was seen by a doctor who thought it was healing fine. The issue was that there is a shortage of public health nurses on the island so she had an appointment with a wound clinic on Sunday but no way to get there as DM has been doing a lot of the driving around. Transportation on the island isn't that great - there isn't any taxi service. DA was so desperate to get back home to feed her cats today (just has dry food out but some get wet food) that she took a land taxi to the water taxi and was taking that home this evening. :shock: Not bad for a 94 year old. She had been staying with her daughter, who just broke her ankle, so can't drive her mother home. Did I mention, when it rains it pours? :roll:

@Liz, Carla, Jen - I think Neko was listening to you today. ;-) DA and DM are better, now it's an issue of transportation, plus I think I'll be going to visit DM more frequently the next little while to help her with shopping and to get things done around the house.

Glad to hear your DM and DA are doing better. Sounds like your DA is one tough lady! Good on her for finding a way to get home to her babies. Sending continued healing vines for both of them.

I don't think that +9 yesterday was a mistake, based on the +11. Maybe the +3.5 should have been retested?!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that does late condos (although mine are a lot later than yours). Sometime there is just too much crammed into your day to sit down at the computer even for 5 minutes.

I hope you are having a nice, relaxing evening, and that Neko surfs safely for you.

Neko! Where did that rosy hue to your blue numbers come from! Maybe that was the one to retest :lol: it fits her SS lately more than the green number.

Glad you had a great row and a btb. Boy the women in your family are amazing. Healing vines for your mom.

I'm glad your DM and DA are doing better. Neko, did you hear that threat of more juice? I think you did judging by the +2. It's amazing how that works.
