So, last night, I had a really bad migraine, and I went to bed without doing Marley's bedtime test. I am regretting that now. His AMPS is higher than it has been! Then to make matters worse, I'm somewhat afraid that his 5.5 dose this morning was a fur shot. I just don't know. Also, his poop was a little loose this morning, and he had urinated much more over night than he has been. Other than that, he seems fine - starving as usual and alert. I haven't been able to check keytones yet, but I will asap. Any other advice or suggestions? I feel like such a bad cat mommy this morning!

Update: I guess the shot went in!

I'm sorry you felt bad but you are not a bad mommy. We have to give ourselves a break. It's one cycle, and as Sienne said, looks like he just decided to bounce.

Thanks, Marje! It's been kind of an emotional week for me - realizing I wasn't doing the best things for Marley for the last 8 months!

I haven't visited you guys before. Don't be so hard on yourself! FD is tricky, but when you're part of LantusLand, you've got a ton of support and help and knowledge.

My business partner has an orange and white tabby named Marley :-D ...what does your Marley look like?

He is black and white with big greenish yellow eyes - see my avatar. He's a handsome fella! Thanks for the encouragement!

Well, now I have a NEW question. This is the first time his PMPS has been this low - I went ahead and gave him the shot. Was that okay? Do I need to check him more than once at bedtime tonight? Is this reading just more evidence of "bouncing"? You all are so helpful!

It's fine that you shot but it was a bit of a dropping number. I would definitely get a +1 and +2 ok?

Whenever you shoot a number that is lower than you are used to, it's always a good idea to get in a few more tests like Marje suggested.

Hoping Marley does well on this dose.

So, after his PMPS= 207, he got 5.5u and ate 1 can of FF classic chicken. At +1 and +3, he is rising. Is this "bouncing"?
