WOOT! Yesterday was BLUE day in MannieLand. WOO HOO! I hear that the Blue Mannie Group was performing live on the Porches of Rusty's residence in NY. :cool: :cool: It was very nice to see a blue kitty yesterday - I swear that those dose threats do work. I had also quietly asked Mannie the night before for a blue day - a solid mid-level l blue day: just becasue he was due for one, and also because it was Nicholas day, and blues are a good decent but safe number. Amazing: that is what the boy deliverer. Well done Mannie!! LUBS ya big guy, and now can we have more days like this one? cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Nicholas was back yesterday, and ever so glad to see Mannie. I just evolve those squeals he lets out when he see him. :lol: :lol: At least it wasn't THE VOICE. That has been subdues the last few stays here. :cool: He did decorate Mannie with the nanners - so artfully placed on his back. He did try again to pick Mannie up. He just couldn't figure out how to do it. He got Mannie's rear end lifted, then tried for the front. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Mannie played the wet noodle, sagging in the middle. So here is DGS trying to hold onto alot of cat, without much luck. He kept trying to use both hands on one end and then would lose the other end. HAHA! Mannie of course just laid there and let the kid keep on trying. OMG, and PRICELESS. and I am sorry to say - I was camera-less.... :roll: :roll: :roll: This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder is back to being used by Mannie, again :shock: Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty through Friday. We will go to a river today, providing Mannie gives us permission... WOO HOO: fun times! I will try to get to condos when I can - it is just too difficult when he is here. I will be thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! Back to Rusty's!!! More porches! and fishing. SWEET! Rusty is all by himself cuz his bean are very busy, so I told him we'd come and stay with him. Maybe we could make come cookies. I feel the need for cookies.... cimmamum ones! Maybe we could go and play in the barn afterwards... WOO HOO! You guys in? ~~ Mannie

Hi guys .. yay for a nice blue day! And a nice start to the day with mid yellows .. Too funny on picturing nicholas trying to pick up mannie .. I can't believe how tolerant he is .. my girls would never let our nieces pick them up! Of course, they don't have quite the same buddy buddy friendship going on either :-D have a great day guys!

Morning Devon! yes, it was a hoot watching that yesterday - Nicholas tried so hard to pick him up - but Mannie is way too big for him to do it the way he was. He hasn't seen the grab around the middle way yet. :lol: :lol: Elsa, my civvie, would never ever let him even try - she looks, lets him get within a foot, then splits. Thanks on today -we have great weather: it should be a great outdoor day. WOO HOO! :-D :cool:

Michelle, thanks for that coffee ~O) ~O) yum may try the WPM today! Nice blues yesterday and hope Mannie does the same. Really cute pics of DGS. He really loves the water and adventures, how fun for both. That had to be hilarious with Nicholas trying his mightiest to lift Mannie,! :lol: I had to laugh with DGS lifting one end only to lose the other end. Mannie is such a good sport thru it all. Yes, you must get a video of the event next time. My sister's granddaughter tried the same thing on her cat, but her cat wasn't as easy going as Mannie and just made a quick getaway from the little human and took into hiding! Have a wonderful time today.

Mannie, yeah, Rusty's porch it is today. I can bring some of my Bean's girl scout cookies today. I know where she hid them! Yum...they really look good. See ya at curb, Mags

Mannie, we are on the same floor! I was going to suggest a water slide to the lagoon but maybe something a little slower. You know how these beans are. :roll: Any ideas? ~Z

Nice to see Mannie rockin' out in the Blue Mannie Group yesterday! He's such a cool dude for humouring Nicholas. I can just picture his face while Nicholas was trying to lift him. SO cute!

Hey Mannie, my beanz moved me to my grandparent's house and it's still a bit new for me. I think I will try and sneak out and meet you guys on the porches today. It will be nice to hang out with some freinds and eat cookies. I 'll bring some of those mouse one you like.

Nice blue day yesterday and today is shaping up to be a flat yellow one. I wonder what he's thinking about tonight? In the mean time, enjoy this beautiful weather.

I loved the story of DGS trying to pick up the cat. Mannie is such a relaxed cat. Mine would be under the bed.

Nicholas and I had a great day at the river. The skies were blue, temp was 65/70, the river was so so gorgeous, and we even had mountain views for our backdrop. This is Beckler, and we went last week too. It's a two hour drive, but ever so worth it. DGS had such a good time: throwing rocks, picking wildflowers, walking a trail we found that parallels the river. There is a bridge that one has to cross to get to this trail, so we stopped on it for a while so Nicholas could throw rocks into the river. I fond some sticks and began to teach him how to play pooh sticks. WHAT A FUN DAY!!! I will post picks in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Carla - thanks for the visit!! I too love to watch DGS try - it is so darn cute. One of these days he will succeed. I agree too: we need more blue Mannie!

Hi Georgia - I did - on the outside. Nicholas and I headed on out to a river, and had just the best day. I am ever so grateful to a kitty that knows what we need, and delivers., A nice flat yellow - I wished he'd done blue, but this will do. I know that sometime soon I will pay the recipe for his cooperation. :lol: :lol: Anytime on the photos - he so loves the pool - I try and make it a point to get him there two out of the three days I have him. He is very at home on the water.

Hi Wendy - yupp - very flat yellow indeed! and I now on tonight.... the thought did cross my mind. :shock: Makes me really wonder what his +2 will be - that one is often a tell-all for him. Me too on DGS and Mannie - it is so darn cute, and I am so taken back by the fact that Mannie lets him do all this. :shock: :cool:

Hi Ann, and Tess - yupp! permission slip for today. not too bad of a yellow either, Wish it was blue... i will settle for the glorious day yesterday. :-D And I agree! BLUEtiful!! - it should be in the LL dictionary - good one Angela! OH HAHA on the camera around my neck - but you are probably right on that one. I do miss alot of the DGS/Mannie stuff, as the camera is usually packed for the outing of the day. I need to rectify that!

Hahaha, on Nicholas trying to pick up the water balloon......that's what I called Sammi, Check's sister. She did what Mannie did, just let go, and one end would be in my hands and the other flopping. A cat like that can suddenly weigh twice their weight. :lol:
