Hi all!
Just wanted to drop in for a quick hello. Junior and I are on our layover in Vegas. Our flight is in another hour and yay for free wifi at McCarran Airport!
Overall the trip went well. Wedding was fantastic, so informal and laid back. And I did have a tear or two in my eye. I also did some job networking and managed to connect with two companies who are interested in my background.
As for Junior, after the scary 48 BG our first night, he did great. We had 2 toddlers stay with us and Junior greeted them with hisses not kisses. He ran upstairs and disappeared for the night. I couldn't find him for awhile and learned that he had hidden under the bed the first night. What Junior didn't realize was that was the wrong bed. I had to knock on my guests' door in the middle of the night to fish Junior from underneath their bed. Boy did he look happy to escape from those kids!
Anyway, we're going to be boarding soon. Junior is asleep in his carrier with his arm covering his eyes. Guess he's trying to block out the sounds of the slot machines!
