Thinking of Natalia and Enana today as Enana has her dental. Also keeping Melissa, Tarragon and Turnup in our prayers and Rocket and Claudia and also Caryl and all the other kitties and their beans that are going through a difficult time right now.

Simon saw some green last night which was a nice surprise given that his numbers were pretty high yesterday. This morning, he is back up again but hoping that as the steroid leaves his body, his numbers will return to a more consistent low blue and green. Simon is great this morning, purring and eating well.

Cleo is also doing well and seems to be feeling better and eating better now that she is getting her fluids. I crushed up her temptations yesterday and that worked better. She didn't try to inhale them as quickly and no Heimlich maneuver needed.

Great news about your babies today!! Simon will come down now that the steroids are over. Even though he didn't go near as high as you had worried he would. What a good boy!

Good news about Cleo as well! The fluids must really be helping her. You are such a good bean.

Morning! Nice to see that green last night - YA!, and Go Simon. :-D Not too bad of a start today, and I bet he brings that down soon. Very nice on the purring - I love kitty purrs. It is also good to read that Cleo is doing well, that the fluids are helping her. Good too on the temptations - I can only imagine trying to do the Heimlich maneuver on a kitty. :shock:

What the heck is going on!! This 262 is way too high and I know I didn't do a fur shot this morning. Simon didn't even get any ear drops and the number is zooming up. Does anyone have any ideas?

Oh dear, even higher at the PMPS!

On a good note: DH is out of town and I successfully gave Cleo her fluids all by myself!! I am so proud of Cleo for staying so still through the whole thing.

Hi Georgia, good for you with Cleo and the fluids. Simon, please come down. I don't know, you said you were sure no fur shot! Could it be taking a while for the steroids to clear his system? See what others say that have used the steroid drops.

I have no idea about the drops, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did take a little while for things to normalize again. I'm sure Simon will get himself back down, though. Maybe he's bouncing off last night's greens???

It's great that you were able to do Cleo's fluids by yourself today. That must be a relief!

I thought I had a meeting yesterday but in reality was today confused_cat so I had to move Enana's dental to tomorrow. :shock:

Congrats in giving fluids ABY to Cleo :-D
 
Now this is a little better. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Karrie, I don't think Simon has eaten any of Cleo's temptations, but you never know. He is pretty good with his paws -- he can open drawers and kitty crack bags.
