Last Night's Condo
No, you are not dreaming. I really am posting a condo during the daylight hours! Well, it is Caturday, and Sasha doesn't have her radiation therapy, so I'm actually home!
So far, the dosecrease does not seem to be making a difference. Patience pants are on, but tight!! I thought we were headed for blue today, but then Cinco stalled out right in front of the elevator! Maybe tonight.....? His appetite is good, and everything else seems to be just fine, so I really don't have a clue why we are getting all these stinky pinkies. I just want them to go away!
From Chris's comment on last night's condo:
I don't think it's anything bad enough to require surgery. I just think I riled up the arthritis in it with all the extra weight and use it took over the past four weeks, and a few funky maneuvers when I was hopping. It is totally bearable - just irritating - and doesn't hurt all the time. I just thought, "really??? Can't I just walk pain free for a little while?"
From Linda (great to hear from you!!):
I have a popper very similar to that one. It doesn't always work that way, because my kitties are VERY good at bunching up their tongues in the back and catching the pill. If it doesn't work the first time, and the pill gets damp, it sticks to the popper on the second try. Sasha also has an iron jaw, and getting it open enough to get the popper in is a real challenge. Luckily (anti-jinx), she has been eating her meds in pill pockets about 75% of the time.
It was so nice to sleep in this morning and not have to rush out on the 40 minute drive to UCD. I think Sasha was surprised when she got breakfast, since she doesn't during the week, of course. Only one more week to go! Yay! Then it's nail biting time as they decide if she needs chemo. Please pray she doesn't. Still sounding congested, but it's early on in the AB treatment, so I'm trying not to let it get to me.
Staying home today, except maybe for a quick trip out for garden supplies. Have my last five tomato plants that I was bringing up in the garden window in the kitchen that HAVE to be transplanted - they are touching the top of the window!! Of course, we're in the middle of a heat wave - 100s! We also desperately need to get everything out of the green house and get rid of the weeds that have sprung up and are taking over. I just couldn't do anything about them while I was on one foot, and they are currently in charge in there. The whole place needs a good clean out, anyway, so that's on tap for today. Guess I'd better go scoop the boxes and put on my gardening duds.
Sending healing vines to all in need - beans and kitties - and many, many hugs. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: All of my LL family is always in my prayers.

Sure hope the knee is just irritated at all the overuse. Knee surgery is no fun at all (trust me on this..lol)

Tricia we use Dr. Hansons bullseye pill gun. No mess no resistance first shot every time because it goes down the back of the cats throat fast. They are like 3 bucks.
google or bing them to find a good price. My Vet sold them for a while and I bought mine there.
