Yesterday' visit to the lagoon

Good morning, LL! I've shuffled the condo building off to Anne the past couple of days - that red was just too depressing to post. :roll: :lol: Anne is such a good sport about it, anything for our guy. Zener is doing fine this morning. He visited the lagoon last night, and it wasn't too dramatic either. :lol: :lol: Appy is good this morning. We've been giving him a regular tiny dose of cypro and that seems to have kept his appetite a little more regular. Then again, it could be the regular fluids.

And thank you to Marje for making that fantastic video on giving fluids. Wow, it is amazingly thorough and clear. And Gus is a rock star. It has been relatively easy for us to give fluids and that is totally due to the video. :-D :-D :-D

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter (paws crossed on the test results, Jupe keep your bandage on), Mariko's Lucy, Ann's Maggie. Also thinking of Kathie, losing both her babies recently. Good luck to Kitty on her OTJ trial! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I'm glad Zener is doing good and his appetite is good too.
It's such a relief when our kitties want to eat.

Hi Liz. You and Anne both do a great job on condo building. I think Zener made a wrong turn. Fingers crossed he turns around and gets headed down soon.

Hi Liz and Anne.....That +2 is almost yellow. bet it's just a little food spike.
I agree, you both build a great condo. Always interesting. Sometimes you two actually make me think! :lol:

Yay for Zener's appy. Love to hear he's eating, and feeling good from the fluids. :-D

Glad to hear that Zener's appy has been pretty consistent. Now, if we could only get today's numbers down, that would be nice! Hope you all are having a nice day!! Shasta sends ((hugs))!

Hi, I think Zener is just being a cat. Nice report on his appy. I was just thinking about Zener and the fluids and was about to ask how you and Anne are doing with the fluids. I totally agree, too, on Marje's video as it helped so much, and little Gus so sweet and definitely the Rock Star. I think the fluids do help them feel better. Thanks for keeping Mags in your thoughts. Have a great day. Zener, it's about time for a turn arround nice and easy.

@Ann & Tess - we thought he might hit the color that cannot be named this morning, but he leveled off in the stinky pinkies. Love the emoticon! :razz:

@Barb & Checkers - oh good grief, is Zener leading Checkers down the stinky pinky pathway? Gosh, we hope we don't make you think too hard, we don't want anyone getting hurt! ;-)

@Deborah & Shasta - wouldn't that be nice if we could get Zener's numbers down and flat to boot. BWHAHAHAHHA. :lol: :twisted: :cool:

@Ann & Maggie - you are on target, he's just being a cat. :twisted: We are doing okay with giving the fluids, we only do it 2-3 times per week. He has a repeat of his blood work in a few weeks and we will see then how his kidneys are doing. He definitely feels better with the cooler weather and fluids. Sending hugs to you and Mags today and always. :YMHUG:

We had quite the storm today, 3/4inch rain in about an hour and pea sized hail. We are over 4 inches for the month and approaching record rain. The kitties are disgusted all their favorite backyard spots are wet. The beans managed to get out for lunch today with friends, and the poor kitties were left at home with vacuum cleaner woman.

Time to slide Zener please! Those darn livers, they sure take their time about things don't they?! Or was it the hail and vacuuming? That would do it here.

4 inches of rain for the month - amazing! We are also approaching a record - zero.
