Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry with all 5 p's. Nice sunny start for Tarragon today after a very stressful night. Our power was out until 2 AM this morning. It was about 95 in Tulsa yesterday. We left the house shut up as long as we could, but had to open the windows last night around 9. Of course it only got down to 80 so it didn't really help. The fur kids were all sitting on the vents all night giving us pitiful cries and stares whenever we walked passed. "OK guys. Funny. Now turn on the cool air." :roll: We finally went to bed and thought we would just all tough it out. It was obvious when the power came on since it was like a herd of elephants running down the hallway to get to the vents with all 3 of them jockeying for position. Poor poor kids.

We have the yard all cleaned up but I need to work on the pool. I may as well wait since we have more big storms that will move in tonight with up to 4 inches of rain possible through Friday. :shock: Is this July? The weather is just crazy anymore everywhere.

Melissa, that is so terrible with no power until 2 am and those hot temperatures, poor furbabies and also you and DH. So glad power is restored but hope the weather person is wrong with more storms, any possibility. Our weather person here is off the wall! :? Isn't this early for those temps in the summer. Crazy weather. Too bad tbp isn't w/out power today. Hang in there. Scritches to Tarragon, Charlie, & Turnup.
 
Poor babies (and you too) with the power outage. The one thing that really had me concerned when our power was out for 5 days after Sandy last October was not us beans, but how it would affect the kitties....so stressful worrying about them. I hope you do not get those storms. The weather is crazy everywhere. Last week, we were in the upper 90s. Today's high is 71!

wow on all there. I'm glad things have settled some, but my gracious on the pending storms,and all that rain. :shock: I so agree: crazy weather in so many places.

I can so see the herd of thundering cats as they all ran for their cool air vents. Poor kitties! I am glad that your power is back on. Scritches to all the furkids.

Ugh, sorry to hear about the power outage, that stinks with the hot weather. I agree the weather seems to be just crazy everywhere. It was really hot and humid here too, but today it's in the 70's so it feels chilly.

I hope Tarragon slides down for a pretty blue surf today. Have a good day,

Hooray for the power coming back on! I don't even want to think about that heat and mugginess.Paws crossed this new batch of storms isn't as bad!
 
Awwww, poor kitties! I can remember growing up with Siberian Samoyeds and they would lay on the vents, too! So funny, but not so funny when the ac is out. :sad: Glad it came back on...even if it did take forever!!! Hoping you all stay safe from the impending storms.
 
I'm glad your power came back on. I hope the predicted storms don't knock it back out. Poor furkids. I always worry more about my kitties when the power is out than about me.
 
Awww Melissa, how you must have felt, knowing you couldn't cool off the furkids. :sad:
Power outage in summer is one of my biggest fears. At least in winter I have auxiliary heat. Waddya do in summer?

How funny, they all jockeyed for position on vents. :lol:

We're having a cooloff right now. It feels good after the 90's last week.
