Morning everyone! ~O)
Shadow had lower AMPS than yesterday but the +2 shows a totally different kind of a day. Thankfully!!!!
Yesterday was AWFUL! I guess it was a fur shot...right?

I was so hoping he wouldn't bounce. Dang this is quite a bounce too. I was worried that he was high since you didn't post any updates during the day. If we were playing poker that would be your 'tell' since you tend to go quiet if he's high. Not always, but... just saying. :shock:
Let's hope for a better cycle tonight and tomorrow and maybe it was just a fur shot after all.

Carolyn...you know me so well. I guess I do get quiet when he is so high. :lol: Good thing we aren't playing poker!
So, with renewed enthusiasm, we are beginning our day. I have been going btb and enjoying the extra sleep. I even went out shopping yesterday while he was in the darn Pinks. It was a little break for Mama to not be worrying about him going low. BUT, I prefer the tenseness of low numbers if you want to know the truth! (and while i did do a Walmart run, I actually went other places and spent a lot of time trying on clothes!!!) :lol:

Oh...I have a funny story about the other morning....I woke up and there was Raja, sleeping on the table where DH had left the cordless phone! Actually, it wasn't so funny...she had her head resting on the phone!!!! Using it as a darn pillow!!! :o I was SO thankful that I woke up and saw that before the phone rang! nailbite_smile

Hi Pat, That would have given Raja quite a start!!! Good to see Shadow in better numbers today. After all, there are parties to go to. Stu has a great menu planned for tomorrow night, including bison meat canonballs (for the Thunder Moon theme). Raja will do a great job as always helping with the cooking (and Shadow is a good kibitzer while the crew is cooking--he shines then).

Glad to see it's shaping up to be a good day for Mr. Handsome. I guess he's excited about the parties and his numbers reflect that. When you were trying on clothes, did you happen to check out any more green sequined ball gowns? You should go for a short number with sparkly fringe, maybe in a hot pink. I'm sure the kitties get tired of seeing your same old dress dancing around the kitchen table. After all, it's all about them. :lol:

Socks actually like when my cell phone is set to vibrate, he will lay on it and wait (a little perverse I think) :? Spooky is afraid of it.

Shadow is shaping up because he knows there is a party in the planning. Spooky is excited because his 1 year OTJ is coming up. I tested him the other day after seeing him at the water dish thank god he was only 78. I still worry when he goes several days throwing up his food and acting sick (lip licking, meatloafing) I think he has little CP attacks and that is probably what caused his diabeties to begin with. The fact that he is only 5 years old (and diagnosed at 3 ) means we have a long time to go and I'm afraid the chances of a return when he is older are pretty high.

Guess what...I was out of curiosity looking at apparments today in Florida. I'm not that old yet but I'm so sick of cold weather (especially in winter) I was thinking when my daughter is a little older I would love to have 2 small appartments and spend half the year here and half there (or somewhere warmer) maybe even Spain or southern Italy (then I could drive there) just a dream I think. I was suprised at the prices though about half what we pay here.

nobody asked the important question. Exactly how much did this shopping spree because of Shadow's high numbers cost you? There are definitely advantages of being stuck at home testing kitties. Test strips are expensive, but not as expensive as spending your weekends shopping!

Glad to see the bounce has cleared.

Looks like Shadow doesn't want you to go shopping anymore! I went shopping today thinking Logan would stay in the 300s most of the day since he was in the 400s this morning. I told DH2B to get a +8 instead of the normal +6 and he threw us a 174. We weren't expecting that on a rebound day!

Hope Shadow stays in the greens!!!

Well Libby, I didn't spend all that much because my body gave out before my wallet did. I don't like shopping really...I find it completely exhausting! :lol: Especially trying on clothes! :-|

He hasn't eaten all his dinner since there is a thunder storm outside. What rain we had!!! He is in Raja's closet since she doesn't need it for thunder storms. (come to think of it, she hasn't been in that closet in the longest time...) She runs from droolers and company; Shadow runs from thunder.
