Good afternoon! Osha went to the vet for her regular check up. Unfortunately she has lost 1.5 pounds in 5 months.
Not good at all. The vet hopes it is the kidney disease has progressed. She has been stage 2 for a couple of years. If that is the case she said we would do blood pressure meds and subq fluids and appetite stimulant if needed. If it's not that the ckd has progressed.....well, then it's probably the big C. I've been wondering if Osha's insulin needs drastically went down because of cancer. Who knows. I am pretty sad right now. Vet will have the results of the blood and urine in the morning.
