Yesterday was yellowish day followed by a lagoon trip at night. Same old, same old. I did abort the lagoon trip with HC, I was SO tired last night.

We are almost back at regular PS time, recovering from a late meeting a couple of nights ago. Neko is hovering for her +3 snack. She doesn't understand the delay. :lol: Neko was quite affectionate this morning. I got a couple licks to my arm when I bent down near her to pick up one of the many cat hair tumbleweeds that seem to be multiplying on my kitchen floor. Neko's not usually a licker - just sometimes if she's getting scritches will she lick the hand.

Hi Wendy,
So nice of Neko to give you a special lick on the arm this morning.
Ginger is not a licker so when she licks, it feels sort of special
On the other hand, Lucy is an obsessive licker. If I don't stop her, she licks until I bleed.

It's been quite hot today... yesterday too.
I hope Neko is coping OK....

@Amy - Neko does her diving at night, or has for the last three months. :roll: But I got a nap in this afternoon. Two long hair cats shedding means many tumbleweeds these days. I swear combing Neko just means loosening the fur.

@Carla - The joy of long hair cats = frequent vacuuming. :lol: Neko kept to the yellow floor today.

@Mariko - Definitely seems hotter yesterday and today. Neko's doing fine, she comes in and lies on the floor to cool off in the kitchen and then sheds. :lol: Neko doesn't lick often so it's special for me too. Civie Theo is like Lucy, constant licking. I haven't felt blood yet, but he gives a really good facial. :lol:

I have 2 long haired dogs too.... I must be extra Joyful. :lol:


Lots of yellow going on today.... hope it means blue /green.... but knowing Neko's evenings.... I'm sure they will be.....

No diving tonight, Neko! Zener was quite the licker as a small kitten but not so much now.

@Rhiannon - Neko's fur is much thicker than Theo's. I comb small kittens off her, Theo is just a handful. But dogs shed even more! Not sure about tonight, but I am expecting blues eventually.

@Liz - Definitely not diving yet. She'll probably save that for while I'm asleep. :lol: You mean there's hope that Theo might grow out of licking so much?

I thought those tumbleweeds were dust buffalos!
