Probably going to reuse this condo for tomorrow.

JULY 25

PMPS = 221

We had two cycles of green in a row! WOOO!! 6 units is working!

Sending lots of love and good vines to @Tucker

I was talking to my coworker about Tucker and she was recalling when Ming was in the hospital. She told me she really thought Ming was going to die because his fever wasn't going down and knew it was more than the normal pancreatitis, fearing DIC and pushed for the doctors to do an ultrasound. Coworker called Ming's pancreatitis necrotizing pancreatitis which I can't recall if the vets called it that. But I remember seeing something like that on his ultrasound report.

I did not know this at all. I was working night shifts at the time.

It's interesting to hear this months and months later. At the time, I had just started testing BG and he was on PZI. I brought him in on a Saturday. The vet over the weekend thought he might do better at home and I took him home despite my gut telling me: NO! He's STILL SICK!!! And not getting a wink of sleep that night, jsut watching him breathe, I don't think I thought he would die. I just thought he was sick and I needed the vets to do MORE and be more aggressive.

Anyway, I hope that never happens again. I hate that Tucker and his mom is going through this but I'm so glad Tucker is eating and looking brighter.

:bighug::bighug::bighug: to you and Ming ! :bighug::bighug::bighug: What a great person you are! :)
We're all there for Tucker !

Sorry to jump onto your thread, I’ll post this evening for my foster kitty but I saw you were using the Freestyle Libre and had done some meter comparison. Based on your experience are the readings roughly compatible to a normal human meter? I have an intestable kitty and the libre is finally giving me something to sink my teeth in. Thanks! (Signature is still my old Quintus, doing good in remission. Will update.)
