Good morning.
Mikan had a nice cycle last night but bounced this morning. :banghead:
Hopefully, this will be another quick jump and will return back to a good range!

Happy Thursday, everyone!
Well that was a lovely cycle last night, Kit and Mikan! She really turned it around :D:D

And then a quick jump to Mars today, at least you could guess that one, Kit.
Come back to Earth sweet girl. Ivy and Nestle are waiting for you.
Let’s see where our girls go today. we know Nestle is patiently waiting for them :D

I hope you got your walk in yesterday :)
Have a calm day, Kit :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci,
I was very happy to see her at the beach last night, but hm, errr does she have to get to Mars every time she gets to the beach?
This bounce business has to end! :spam:

I got to have a nice long walk in the morning while it was still cool yesterday. The air was a bit hazy from the fires in Idaho flowing into our area, but it still was very nice :) Also nice to have a day off in the middle of the week ;) I can take that every week!
Back to work today. The AC at my work has been broken this week - hope it was repaired :nailbiting: It was so stuffy and they gave us a whole bunch of popsicles. Tasted good but they don't quite replace the AC

Wishing you a wonderful day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Argh, popsicles instead of AC doesn’t cut it in July!!
I sure hope it gets fixed fast.

I really wish I knew why they had to bounce to Mars after these nice cycles. I know it’s their bodies keeping them safe, but can’t we just get them regulated already, just a little more balanced??
Awesome that you had that holiday yesterday and I’m glad you enjoyed the walk. I think we need a Pioneer day everywhere!

I just found out that a woman who works for us decided to take time off next week. That will mean I need to work extra time to cover for her because we are too busy … so I’m totally not thrilled about that.

I’m thinking about taking time off the second week of August since I had to take Ivy to the vet and that’s gonna be an extremely stressful week for me. ;)

I hope today is a calm day once both girls come on down. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Looks like Ivy is breaking her pancake (bounce?) now…. Here we go

Oh totally. I just stopped by at work and it's HOT! I'm gonna bring some things home to see if I can get them done at home.

Yikes for extra work next week - hope it doesn't get too overwhelming! But you really should take the week off in August. I think we have to work proactively to manage OUR stress.
We tend to put ourselves last behind everyone and every kitty  We just have to be more mindful for taking care of ourselves, Staci!

Ivy is on the move today! Wishing you a nice curve day~! :bighug:

Hope you can take your work home and do it there, Kit. Not good to work in the extreme heat!

I agree about time off. I took mine last year, haven’t gone away in 2 years since Ivy was diagnosed with FD…it’s time for a tiny break in the work.
And I need to do it before our extremely busy season which goes from October through year’s end.
(I keep threatening to retire, then I don’t). :banghead:

Popsicles because of no AC feels like we can't give you a raise but here's some pizza. I don't know why. I hope you're able to take work home, and that work also cools down soon. :bighug:
They replaced the chiller for our building in May because it had been working at 80% for ages, and when I stopped in last week parts of the building were 62 degrees. But I'd rather it be cooler and I cuddle with a blanket at my desk than be too warm. There's only so much clothing you can take off at work. :joyful:

I hope Mikan eases down and then gets to some greens that don't cause the sky high bounces. Bounce solidarity. :bighug:

Shoot. I came to work just now. 85F and super-stuffy. I don't think I can stay here for long. :banghead:
Retirement and shaved ice sounds good right now :p
I know what you mean - I haven't gone outside of the county for 1.5 years since Mikan's Diagnosis. I should look into taking some time off as well!

Hahaha, I like the analogy. Popsicles were a nice gesture but did very little to help with the situation. I can't believe that it was not fixed yet!
I was there for a few hours and I just couldn't stay on. My brain was being poached.
Normally our building gets so over AC'ed and I need to have a sweater or jacket. There are times I have to step outside to get warm.
Cooling to 62F is crazy! I mean, anything thought of conservation?
It would have been a perfect day for me to stay in the office given Mikan's high flat cycle. But oh well.:smuggrin::smuggrin:
