Morning ~O)! Yay, very good news, Maggie pooped! Whew! It took three doses of Lactulose for the poo to finally arrive! A very big sigh of relief for both Maggie and me! I can't believe I didn't hear Maggie in her lb, as her bathroom is right next to my bedroom, so I'm not sure if she strained. Maggie did one semi long prezzie and one short one. When I awoke, she was sleeping beside me and was up and alert and something seemed different. I went to pet her, and Mags starting swatting my hand playfully! Her lb didn't look like it had been used, and it was after I had my first cup coffee that I went to check and could not believe she did a poop. I was getting ready to take her in late morning if there had been no action. Thanks for all your support, advice and vines yesterday. Everyone has been so amazing! I will call the Vet's office a little later and give them a report and get further instructions re the Lactulose.

I was bringing you a special old shrimp remedy today, so glad you been already cause it would have stunk up my flying kangaroo's pouch pretty bad! I bet youze in a great mood now and ready to play - Ize on my way (we might be a bit late for the grillin ;-) ) love Vyktor xxx

What a relief Ann - YAY! I am sure Maggie feels great too - she knows she pleased her bean. Good luck going forward. Are you going with a daily regiment of miralax, just to keep things on track?

Thanks Michelle, yes probably an ongoing Miralax maintenance program. I will call the Vet's office and see how much longer I should have her on the Lactulose. I think she still has more poo to do.

Hi Tracy, yes, I think I have to be aware it may be a chronic problem with her Manxy breed!

Oh my, with being so tired and going btd earlier, I forget to set the alarm for a +3 and shocked to see the 62! I'm on the human meter though, so it's okay. I'd be trying to get her up if it were the AT. Still rewiring my brain with the meters.

Sienne, thanks and yes, I gave her some lc Wellness Turkey which didn't interest her too much. I then tried a little Beechnut chicken bf, and it was a hit.

Melissa, thanks, I sure hope no more scares like this one. Miralax every day now after I check with Vet on further use of Lactulose.

Thanks Amy, we'll have a nice day now since no Vetty visit.

Helen, yes you're right - green and poo in one day.

Back down when normally Maggie is rising! She just finished off some Wellness Turkey. Time for a little FF T&G!
We are on the Relion Confirm meter, so numbers are okay just in case someone forgets we converted to the human meter.

Maggie's numbers have been so nice today and yesterday, too. It seems like the constipation was the cause of higher numbers. I think she also may be eating a little less since the constipation so this th lower numbers. The Lactulose did not affect her numbers. :-D

I called the Vet to report on Maggie having a poop! Today is his day off, but the instructions were to continue on the Lactulose, and the Vet will call me tomorrow. I'm hoping for another poo tonight and maybe even zoom zooms.

Good job Maggie! Between all those nice numbers and finally a poop, Maggie's having a great day! I'm so glad she went.

I think it's definitely time to add Miralax to her daily routine to keep her regular. Hope you have a great day!

Melanie, I agree that Mags will definitely need a daily Miralax maintenance program. This came out of the blue as prior as she was always regular every day, jus like clockwork. :?

Hi Liz, we thought Detective Poo would be impressed. Mags sure had a heck of a time and is so good about taking her Lactulose, even with a little sticky on herself and me. We're getting better though.

Are you all having trouble with the Board? Or is it my computer?
I had to give Maggie FF T&G at the PMPS, as she doesn't want to eat when low. It didn't seem to affect her numbers.

Awww....thanks Roni & Moonie for your sweet message and all the magical poo vines. We lubs you and Moonie back.

Georgia, she does seem to be feeling better, a little sleepy this afternoon, but then it's what cats do and much more when older.
 
YAY!!! for POOP!!!!

I know she's relieved! :lol: I'm sure constipation would play with BG. So glad it looks like she's moving in the right direction :-D

And, yes, I was having problems with the board earlier, too. Didn't know if it was just me. Finally gave up.
