No condo for a couple days.

Please continue to keep Caryl in your thoughts and prayers after the loss of her Mom.

I'm behind on a ton on the board. Wishing everyone and their kitties are well. Please share for those of us that do not have condo's or can't make it to all the condo's every day.

Re: 7/25 Loose Lips

Hi Guys, its going to be a crazy day for me. My neck is snarking up a storm so I'm working on avoiding a neck induced migraine.

Here is a video of the three not yet amigo's - Henry is the white kitty up front, Victoria is the black one in the middle and Hef is the newest kitty as of a week ago and only integrated since Thursday. They are waiting their turns to play with Da Bird (which is a lame bird in the video LOL)

They don't hate each other but are not bonded. Queen Victoria rules the roost. Henry has just started playing with real cat toys lol - he used to run and hide in the bathroom at the slightest movement of a cat toy and only play with sunflower seeds and mosquitos. Hef loves to play but acts shy when the Queen is involved.

Hef was hunting feet again last night. He got Dh's before I could warn him at 2AM. DH is snarky but I was laughing silently. I get a kick out of it.

Re: 7/25 Loose Lips

And for those of you that need smiles... A friend of mine from the heart failure group sent me a video of her friends bulldog Gus. Made me laugh my head off.

Karrie, that is just the cutest video ever! I love how they each stay in their only little spot, waiting for Da Bird! In my herd, I've got some cat toy hogs - they won't hesistate the push the others out of they because they want the toy NOW. "Not hating eachother" is fabulous. The all look very content!

ETA: Gus's video is hilarious!!!

Hi Karrie, you've done a great job with integrating them! They are all so cute the way they share the toy, love it. I had a really good laugh at Gus and his persistence in never giving up. He sure got his way, and I bet Gus' owner was glad he emptied the water first before carting the pool into the house!

Karrie that is so cuteeeee!! All of them together! Great job :-D

That's Gus's video is hilarious!! He wanted a pool, but an indoor one looked much better!

Karrie, that video of the "Fabulous Three" sharing the toy is just wonderful! You are doing a great job with them. I hope your neck feels better as the day progresses.

Ella
(liked Gus's efforts, too!)

can't believe Gus got that pool inside! ohmygosh what a funny dog!

loved the video of the 3 notquite amigos, too! :-D

i posted a video today on punkin's condo - didn't see you had a loose lips open, but i guess i won't repost it here. the DH grew catnip in the garden and the cats were having fun with some fresh stalks of it. the kids and i enjoyed it!

Cute videos, Karrie :-D

Nothing new with Leroy or Emma. Leroy has a new (expensive) toothbrush  The dental kit cost nearly $10 and all I really needed was the toothbrush

Has anyone heard from Cynthia lately? Was wondering how she's been doing since her move to Chicago.

I'm going to lay low on the board for awhile. I just feel picked on by certain people (not anyone on LL) whenever I post something :? I'll check PMs if I get any but otherwise won't be posting.

Seriously?! That sucks. (((Squeem3))).

Does anyone need a kitten fix? My co-worker took in a pregnant feral cat that had been hanging around his back yard. I went to meet her and her new kittens yesterday. There are three calico girls and one orange boy.

Karrie: you are a miracle worker girl. One big happy family. Glad to see that Da Bird is a hit w/the kitties. You are doing a wonderful job. And if my two get snippy w/one another, I now know who to call...heck, I just bring you down to Houston to work w/my two furbabies.

Squeem3: Oh, your comment made me sad. Hope you reconsider. Hugs to you.

Linda: Love kittens. However, Curry would not be pleased if I were to bring home kittens. Sid would love them to death though. How are your two kitties doing?

Hi Tena,

I wish I could bring one home, but kittens are out of the question as long as I have Pinkerton. The boys are doing OK. Teddy has been through a CP flare, but he seems better. Pinky has been diagnosed with moderate arthritis in his hope joint. Since he only has one hind leg, this could be quite serious for him.

I was in a bit of a rush today, and hurrying around the house. Pinky wanted some time out of his room, so I confined him in the TV room, which he enjoys. It occurred to me a little while later that I did not see Teddy anywhere. HE WAS LOCKED IN THE ROOM WITH PINKERTON :o

Fortunately, Teddy was well hidden in a basket, and I don't think that Pinkerton even saw him in there ohmygod_smile

Linda, how are you kitties doing?

Squeem3, I hope whatever you are having to deal with doesn't last too long, like a day.

Loved the videos

Poor Pinkerton. Would cosequin help him at all w/the arthritis?

Poor Teddy being stuck in the same room with Pinkerton. Yikes. I did the same thing w/Sid and Curry. :o

I am trying Pinkerton on Adequan. The vet wanted me to try a Rx diet which he doesn't like, and an Omega oil, which he doesn't like. I am making some progress with giving some Glyco Flex chews. Cosequin might be another option. The Glyco Flex and the Rx Mobility diet both contain Green Lipped Mussels (Perna) which my vet is quite keen on.

Thank you guys :)

I forgot to tell you guys about a dream I had last night. I had to give dolphins and fish insulin and had to run around the city to be on time for their shots ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

I guess Gus has made it all the way to Inside Edition tv show tonight  Da-Bird was worth every penny.

Squeem, don't internalize other people. Loose Lips at least is very low key. No picking/bullying allowed. We'll call in the bouncers :) I haven't seen anything about Cynthia but I dont get to many condo's lately.

Linda I saw your pics today and they truly made my heart melt. They are all so lucky. Glad Teddy made it out unscathed and hugs to Pinkerton.

Tena I can't thank you enough for everything I learned watching you deal with Curry and Sidney. I'm so glad I didn't just let him out of the carrier when we got home. I think his personality just enabled him to co-exist so well. He is such a mellow boy. No issues. I tell you if I had his experience I'd come with a whole lot of baggage. Same with VIctoria and Henry. Have to give them credit. So long in the shelter and they aren't institutionalized LOL.

Please visit Melissa & Tarragon's condo and send hugs/prayers/vines and advice. Her cat Turnup was diagnosed with malignant eye cancer today.

I am so late visiting this condo and I wish I had visited it earlier. The videos were so cute! Karrie, your three just warm my heart and pretty soon I bet they'll all be jumping together for da bird. It is hilarious how they all line up to play and stay in their one spot.

the video of Gus and the pool is just the funniest thing I have ever seen!! I can't believe he actually got that thing in the house.

Linda, the kittens are adorable and remind me of my own little calico, Cleo.

Sqeem, so sorry to hear about the troubles you are having on the board. How awful that you feel picked on when you are here to get support from others and to also give your support to those that desperately need it. We are here for you!

I showed Gus's video to a few people before I realized you knew of the owners. Gave me a chuckle. The video of your gang is great, pretty well integrated for such a short time together, even if they kept their own spaces. I like how this condo brings a mix of experiences and comments and pictures.
