Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS Elsa, Major recovery mode here, and more DGS to come!), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is the day after WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Lola and Bug SWEAR that it will be a normal day today. They say being wacky is hard work. HUH? They is busy right now making a mess in the kitchen, mostly the floor, and skating around on it on Ollie's sponges. OLLIE!!! HELP!, please!!! Silly kitties! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle..... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with berry chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Nicholas and I had a good one. It was mega busy, but alot of fun too. I swear Soon I will need roller blades to keep up with the energizer FISH, TRAIL BLAZER, AND RIVER GUIDE.  Yes, it was that busy yesterday. Here's what I wrote in last night's post about today: "HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine has been more than busy - Nicholas kept me on my toes for sure! AND (!!!!) what an afternoon on the freeways.... noting but rear-enders: crash in the hood and the front of the car rear-enders. They were everywhere, one even included a rollover. guys car was upside down. What I enjoyed the most was all the lookie-loos! Sheshhh... they too where everywhere. Though I have to admit that I did look at the rollover... LOL. I swear that with all this 80 degree weather day in and day out people's brains here are fired. What a day to avoid I405....   ;-) What a busy day for Nicholas. We went to the pool in the AM. Seems the he made a friend and spent most of the 2.5 hours playing with this kid, a 7 year old. It is interesting, but he always goes for the older kids. They swam underwater together, did the slides together, ran everywhere in the pool together, under the water dunking buckets together. He has such fun! The energizer FISH was hard at work today. Anyways - lots of fun, but extremely active fun. We did the trails after that, the big blackberries are ripening, so he was in hog heaven. LOL. I was so certain he'd crash when he got home. nope! slept maybe 10 minutes, and then ready for more. So off to this waterfall area that is near his dad's work. That pond is so full of algae.... unreal! So... Nicholas in his infinite wisdom started calling it Algae Pond. LOL! So we christened it, with a snack on the lawn: crackers, strawberries , and some dried blueberries. AWESOME time! I so needed roller blades today. HAHA. A very nice day for the little guy. Tomorrow we do Jack's Pass in the mountains, the Skykomish and the Beckler Rivers, per his request. YAY!" Here is the Picassa link to all of yesterday. There are no swim videos though, as I had a few camera issues. There are a couple of videos in the pool trail album though. Here ya go: Swimming, Berry Picking and the Pool Trail, and Algae Pond

The kitties are doing great. Bug has become by evening lap sitter and cuddler. Elsa continues to be my bedtime steal my pillow cuddler, and Lola is now my morning work at the computer lap sitter. I think it's great that they all have found a time that is theirs.   Yesterday morning Bug let Nichols pet him, for quite some time. Nicholas was told he had to be slow and gentle, and let Bug get to know and accept him. So he was. I think maybe Bug gave him two minutes and then he was off. Nicholas was so excited that he got to pet Bug. :-D   Per the norm Lola showed up for his breffis. They are becoming the new best buds. So of course I had to take some photos. Of course too Bear had to be included...  Nicholas, Bear and Lola. I had thought that the kitties had been good while Nicholas and I were out and about. well.... until I went to the main hall. It seems that they figured out how to open the cupboard door that holds the recycling bin and managed to remove all the used cat fuds cans....    I found all that we in that bin scattered about the house. one here, one there, one over there.... OMG! Of course they were licked clean. Cleaner than when I put them in the bin..     Sheshhh - that will have to be addressed. They all got an exam: no cut tongues. lips, etc ... you gotta love it.

Have a great day everyone. Nicholas and I are off to the rivers today - one of our fav sots up in the mountains. it is finally clear of snow, so we can safely get up there. YAY!!!! I will try and get to condos when I can. Forgive me if I miss so many of you....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Re: 7/25 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, trail, waterfall....

LOL...I don't know if you're ever going to get one step ahead of that crew, Michelle! Yes, it is very sweet that they've all picked their own special "cuddle with MamaBean" time. Gotta love cats....

Re: 7/25 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, trail, waterfall....

Cracks me up. Nicholas keeps you hopping but he is even wearing you out. I get tired just reading about your adventures every day. Soooo sweet on the kitties and their new roles. They do fall into a pattern. Have a wonderful day Michelle!!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) I so know.... I don't think I will ever be one step ahead of what the crew here does. maybe when they are seniors! yep on the cuddle times, and yes: gotta love them kitties! :-D :-D

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) oh yes on Nicholas: he did that yesterday. OMG - energized on all levels he was. poor grammie!   He just didn't stop, though reports from home are that he crashed when he walked i his front door. well duh....   oh yes on the kitties, that they do. I love workable patterns that work for all: they have figured it out. They are sometimes, smarter than us humans. ;-)

Hi Michelle, sounds like Nicholas is getting his second wind pretty quickly after a short nap and ready to go again. I wonder where he gets those energizer genes!! I know Lola will load you up on her coffee to help with the energy level. :-D So nice Nicholas found a pal at the pool. Wow on all the berries. Cute pics of everyone. That's great Bug allowed Nicholas to pet him. Now I bet he'll come back for more pets. Sounds like a great adventure planned for today. Hope you can rest up tonight. Look forward to the pics.

Hey Michelle, I think you need more than rollerblades! Maybe a jet-assist?
Yesterday was quite a day and today sounded like a worthy sequal. Great pics. Great kitty antics. The whole crowd should be ready to sleep tonight!

Have a good, restful evening,

Re: 7/25 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, trail, waterfall....

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I am back home later than expected, and WOW: TIRED! Nicholas and I did head on out to a river today, and ended up spending the whole day there. I barely made his pickup time at his dad's work. ;-) What a great day today for the little guy and I. The Skykomish River at Jack's Pass (15 miles in off of HWY 2, shy of Stevens Pass) was ever so nice. Nice and warm up there too. Thank gawd there was a breeze. In all the times we went last year, and this, this was the first time I have pulled onto that side road and found a couple camping. LOL: they camped in my park spot. the nerve! It was ok, they didn;t mind us, and we gave them their space. Nicholas had a ton of fun exploring, playing in the river. He threw a ka-zillion rocks, a few sticks, went wading up to his knees, collected flowers, walked trails, ate as many berries as he could find. The area was full of thimbleberries, and a few salmonberries. It was so beautiful there today. I just love it there. It seems the Nicholas does too. On the way home I stopped at the junction for the FSR 65 offshoots, and the bridge where the Beckler River joins the Rapid, as it is one of the first spots that can get cell reception and I wanted to get the mobiles uploaded. What was so fun was that Nick recognized it, begged to get out and go see the Beckler River. So we did. Alot of folks camping there too. We stayed mostly on the Rapid River side at the spot where the two rivers join. so fun to watch him play in the river - he was soaked. It was so hot there that it must have felt good. What a great day for him. As we packed up to head home for sure he tells me "we gotta go back, please. soon, ok?" sure little guy, anytime you want. love it. :-D :-D :-D  I will post the Picassa link on tomorrow's Loose Lips.

Hi Ella - LOL, and you are so right! jet-assist would be good!   oh yes on yesterday, and today was too, Today was extra nice, so so pretty up on that river. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D And I agree: ALL should be ready to hit the hay early. I sure hope so anywyas! THX on tonight.

Hi Jane - Yes on the kitty time. It is good for all, and I like it: one on one time with each one. I so agree on that recycling bin! They did it again today too! Gotta get that fixed, like soon!    I so agree on the booboo mouth. It is kinda worrisome.... THX on the days with Nicholas, they are just that very full, very fun. He thrives on it, and I get alot of good exercise ;-) , even more fun! The memories are priceless.

Hi Carla - We did!! It was super busy, but ever so much fun. oh ye son teh 7 year old. that was really nice. LOL on those recycled cans; that was my thought too. I can so see "motherload" etched on their faces.

Hi Ann - Oh yes on that second wind - he sure did yesterday. It was similar today too. He saw something he loved and being tired was all but forgotten. I am sure he will sleep well tonight. I dunno on those enrrgizer genes... wish I had a few!! Ye s on Bug and the pets, Nicholas did try again today. Bug let him once again, but only for a minute. THANKS on today - it was great!

Hi Deborah - that he did! he was so excited too! so of course he had to try again today. Success number 2, although it was very short-lived. THX on all, we really do have fun. It's' good for both of us. :-D THX so much on today.
