Good morning Lantus Land!! Still sending caring thoughts and sympathy to Joe.
Baby girl is doing great.....she had a gorgeous green day yesterday and today is her birthday!!!!!!!! Our little one is six years old....so hard to believe. Back in 2006, our 21 year old kitty, Sitka, had crossed. She had always been my little soul mate. I did not think I'd want another kitty....we've all been through that feeling, knowing in our heart we will get another. Nine months later, I saw Gracie's photo on one of the Scottish Fold breeder's website. I knew them well and called and said I wanted her. But she had been promised to a breeder in CA because she was breeder quality and her pedigree was outstanding (daddy, Jimmy, was a huge winner with all the titles). But I knew she was mine and so I pestered and pestered. As luck would have it, when the breeder took her to the vet, they found her little jaw was off by a hair and he wouldn't put her in the breeding program. I picked her up in Canada when she was 13 weeks old and weighed 1 lb. And you all know how much we love her.
So have a wonderful birthday baby girl!!!! We love you more than you'll ever know!!
