The birthday girl has been having a birthday blast this morning. She's happy, playful, funny, sassy. I'm sure she knows it is her birthday especially because we've sung to her several times and gave her some nip. If she weren't FD, I'm sure some yummy food would be on the menu but she got extra shrimpies this morning. I also think she knew it was her birthday because she barely licked the last morsel of breffis off her plate and she was up on the counter ready for shrimpies. I love this photo of her as a baby. It's like she has a little pink tutu around her neck :lol: :lol: She is an enigma, our girl. A Principessa, absolutely. But she can really turn on the tomboy! Ask Tobes!

And here's a quick nap in her birfday box after play time. The Sleeky Loungers we just spent all that money on....persona non grata. They now prefer shoeboxes. :lol: :lol:

Nights around here have been PJ Party time except last night. We've been wanting to take her dose up in the a.m. (not at night because she's been zooming down) to try and smooth out the bounces but she had her best night on 7/23 and her 7/24 AMPS was not so high so I thought perhaps she was starting to settle down. So I put off the dose increase. Then she had an entire yellow day yesterday :evil: :evil: :evil: Part of it is because I think of the supplement Dr. B told us to start. She said if Gracie's ears weren't 100% healed by now, to give her a different supplement. The ears look pretty good but there are still two, small bumps on one. Both times I gave her the sup yesterday, her BG went up. So no sup today. And of course, no increase today because we woke to a dropping normal number. We are really hoping she will start to settle down a bit. I think if she would stop the diving and flatten out, this dose would work.
Our hearts are breaking for Mariko and we send Lucy tons and tons and tons of healing vines. We're so glad all is ok with JD but send more healing vines to him, Zener, Tiggy, Sasha, Tricia, Trixie, Sabrina, Simon, Elise's Mom, Amy's Dad, Wendy's Mom, and Molly's Dad. It seems to me that it comes in waves in LL. Some times all of our kitties are healthy and all is well. But then once one is not well, the wave starts, and many babies and beans are not feeling their best. Prayers to all and :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

I hope her ears clear up soon. It's awesome about the shoe box. We buy all these expensive toys and stuff...and they go after the box and bag they came in, LOL.
!!! But I feel guilty putting them in recycling when the kitties love them so! We still Mario's two favorite boxes, and Trix now uses them. Mario was a big shedder, so I literally used to vacuum his box - talk about being a crazy cat lady to the core!!
