So on almost no insulin he crept up a little bit.If we do decide to start otj trial would i expect a few days of a little higher numbers before his pancreas takes over completly? Or is that not how it works. When he was otj 1st time around early on he had some low blues and high greens, and then they came down to high greens after a few days.Or is this creep up on one drop not a good sign?

It depends on what you mean by, "creeps up." There have been several people who have had a PS number that's about 120 or even a little above but it comes down several hours after eating. If you mean low blues like to night, not to worry. Basically, if you get a number that is a little on the high side, give some food and test 3 - 4 hours later and see if Brutus' pancreas has kicked in and lowered the number. If there's insulin on board, it's harder to tell if it's the Lantus or Brutus that's doing the work.

Also, remember to give small, frequent meals so you don't overwhelm Brutus' pancreas.
