Had a fun 24 hours. Bell dropped steeply last night again. 272 to 38 in 4.5 hours. So I stayed up with her until 3 AM making sure she was safe. I gotta watch these bounce breaks, yeeeesh. But we're moving in the right direction!

Then I spent all day today trying to track down a refill for her. See this thread.

All in all, I'm tired, but relieved that she is safe and I have 4-5 months of insulin in my fridge. Phew.

It was a new feeling for me! And I don't like it! We're lucky/conditioned to have everything we could possibly want a click away, so not having something as necessary as insulin is scary. They do have plenty of substitutes for human use, so that is good. I just hope it is a matter of ramping up production. I also hope that it is more localized to my area and won't affect a lot of folks here.
 
Wow. What a crazy drop! I’m so glad you caught that and impressed as always that you can anticipate Bell’s little hijinks!

This makes me feel less insane for hoarding the insulin and syringes like Smaug the dragon. For whatever it’s worth - if there is a Lantus shortage and someone is here in the Northeast, I’d be happy to part with some of our stash. Hopefully they resolve it soon!
